I bought these to hang my 50+ lb bike rack in the garage. The load is distributed between two of these hooks. Due to the large load, I did use 2-3/4" long wood screws, directly into the studs, instead of the included shorter screws.I looked around on Amazon to find just the right size hook for how far off the wall the rack needs to hang, and these are perfect. They are good and sturdy, a tad bit of flex with all that load, but not much. I like the good quality rubber coating too.
