For a low-cost cost rugged walkie-talkie, look no further; these little guys are almost all that most people will need. Has many channels to select from for better clarity and avoiding interference. The earpiece and connection are solid and also work great. The case is a hard, low-end plastic, but it's really perfect for these given what I need them for. Mostly hikes, camping, and occasional road trips when traveling with two cars.

I picked up this 2-pack of walkie talkies for camping and hiking trips, and they’ve been awesome so far. The range is impressive—clear communication even through trees and hills, which is exactly what we needed.They’re lightweight but feel sturdy, and I love that they come with earpieces for hands-free use. The VOX feature works well, and the built-in flashlight is a nice bonus for nighttime use.

If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. You see a lot of Vine reviews that are cookie cutter and based on templates. I aim to make my reviews honest and non-cookie cutter (other than this intro and disclaimer).* These items are not actually free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. Therefore, I will never order something from Vine unless I actually intend to use it. I think this is important for readers to understand because it means I will never order an item just to provide a fake five star review to a company. If I review something as good, it means I actually enjoyed using it or it fills its intended purpose correctly. Items that don't meet my expectations will be reviewed accordingly.Why I ordered this item: I had a set of four walkies that I really liked. Two of them unfortunately have seemed to have disappeared so I ordered these to replace the missing units.Likes:* Compatible with my other walkies that use the same frequency range.* Pretty good range. I moved around 1/2 a mile from my house and could talk to my partner who was back at home. I know the listing says five miles but those marketing numbers on walkies are under perfect circumstances with no obstacles or interference. I need 1/2 a mile at most for my use and this ticked that box.* Good voice clarity.* Comes with a few accessories that I have not seen included with other walkies that I have owned.* USB-C charging which is always a plus.No likes:* These are bulky, which I knew going in. My other walkies were super slim, though the battery life is worse on them than on these. I did not deduct a star for this as I knew they were larger when I ordered them.Would I pay full price for this product: Yes these are an excellent value for the price (~$24 at the time I ordered them).Final thoughts: These are great! No complaints and they fill their intended purpose well.

What a great cost for two walkie talkies! These are better than expected. You can change the channel – up to 16 channels to choose from.They charge using a USB-C cable (cable included, no charger block). There is an LED flashlight on the top. To carry, options are a wrist strap or a belt clip.Also included is an earpiece with a mic making it feel like fun spy equipment.We’re looking at getting another set of these for when we go on our summer trip to the woods so that everyone in the family can have one.

I received this set of rechargeable walkie-talkies primarily for outdoor activities, and I’ve been impressed overall. The devices are compact, easy to use, and come with some handy features like VOX, built-in flashlights, and USB-C charging. One of my favorite parts is the included earpiece—it makes communication hands-free and more discreet, especially in the woods.The signal is generally clear, but I did start to notice some static when we got a bit farther apart than expected. I wouldn’t fully rely on these for very long-distance communication in dense or obstructed areas, but for average use in campsites or open trails, they do the job well.All in all, they’re reliable and packed with features, just don’t expect crystal-clear communication at maximum range.
