Great replacement for the dishwasher. Part was the exact replacement and has the dishwasher back to working standards.

Dishwasher was not heating water or drying. Watched a YouTube video and diagnosed it was the element and watched a how to replace one video. For $35.00 we replaced the element ourselves and saved ourselves over 500.00 for a new appliance.

this is the most common failure on a lot of dishwashers. it is relatively inexpensive and saved my dishwasher from having to be replaced at $600. (Special note to read instructions to reset the memory to default after replacing-otherwise the computer will not allow the element to heat after seeing a failure!)

Does not fit model WDT720PADM2. It's not even close and would require significant, careful bending to give it the circular shape it needs.Additionally, the service instructions included with the unit specify that the heating element should be between 8-30 ohms. This one clocks in at a steady 37+.

Worked like a charm when the element in our dishwasher cracked and broke. Luckily my husband is handy and was able to pull the dishwasher out and install this. Just FYI, your dishwasher might need to be reset for it to work. I looked that up online after the install and after the reset, back in business. Saved us hundreds of dollars and the headache of having to buy a new dishwasher.

This heating element is similar to many generic units sold here on Amazon that have an oval shape rather than a round one. I did not install it and returned it in its original condition.
