This was the biggest hit of the presents I got for my niece this year. She adored the dog and had so much time learning all of the commands that the dog would follow. She kept making it do a faceplant. It was reactive and quite simple for her to learn, as a four year old. I loved the fact that I would talk to her and was shocked that it would let her know when the battery was low. I'm extremely impressed and now probably have to get one for her older sister next year.

Dog is controlled by remote. You have to press & hold for what direction you want dog to travel. Also it is ran by a battery you have to recharge once it's dead (not a personal fan of toys with this). Product worked fine Christmas morning, battery was charged (not over charged either), the dog was dancing, sitting, and all. All of a sudden it stopped, I assumed the battery went dead, did a recharge 3-6 times, dog would power on then power right back off as soon as it turned it. Needles to say I can't get nothing from the toy at this point, so I requested a refund. Don't know if I received a bad item or what, but I highly wouldn't recommend solely on this experience. I will add the refund/return process was not bad at all!

This is very fun and easy to use! Even for the grandkids, good overall quality and nice value for all it does. It has battery life when you first put together but I would recommend charging it right away, because it lasted maybe 30 minutes before needing a charge. Controlled with a nice remote, nice quality also. Does many things besides moving forward and backwards and right or left, sings songs and does pushups to name a few. My three year old grandson was about to control him so it is very age appropriate for younger ages.

So fun for younger kids around 3 - 7 years.Also great entertainment for teasing and playing with your dog, ours has a true love/hate thing going with this remote controlled dog toy.Which shouldn't read - dog toy - so much as - toy dog - as - dog toy - implies it's for a dog to have as a toy.Not that I'm so great with grammar, just me thinking in type.It'll do all sorts of fun tricks and for younger kids it should keep them entertained for a half an hour or so but not much longer than that.The older the child, the less time it will be considered fun and the quicker it will be discarded.If you're able to put this away, out of sight and mind, and just take it out now and then, you'll give it more life as the fun will be renewed due to having been forgotten about.Other than that this is a great novelty item that will give a quick burst of entertainment and then collect much dust on a shelf or take up space in a toy bin.The product looks and functions as advertised and is a fair value at the current listed price point.

I can’t get my son a dog but this is my version of a substitute. A poor one, I know, but actually pretty fun as this one doesn’t require walks and food but my toddler can love it. It does a ton of things we’re very excited to have our newest family member.

Nothing much to say about this toy besides..........a lot of fun! my niece and nephews enjoys playing this dog robot toy. it does all the commands shown in the product listing. The manual is not very specific in some instructions like how to use the "follow me" function. But almost all commands are simple to use it just did not show in the manual that the "follow me" button in the remote should be continuously press while you want this dog robot toy to follow you. Even my dogs were amazed with this thing so I end up playing this toy with my dogs when wife is not around. All in all, this product brings a lot of fun with kids, pets and kids at heart! Great gift idea for kids this coming Holiday Season.
