love that it's blue so u can see it on ur horses frog after DAYS to see if its still there or if u need more. has been great at keeping the frog healthy & dry especially with the bipolar missouri weather this year. could have a better cap to seal it after opening but overall a good product

I wasn't sure this was going to work, but following my farriers advice it corrected white line on my mare's back feet!.

I use “Verericyn” quite often with positive results. The bottle leaked. Didn’t lose enough product to worry about it. It was inside a plastic bag. Only recommendation I can provide is place tape on or around top to keep cap secure
It never showed up.

Did the job and was easy to use. Fortunately I like the color blue, it got everywhere but it was worth it and very helpful in knowing where I’d gotten the product. No weird smells and it didn’t sting feet so I have no complaints.

The dye in it is messy but at least I know I got it in the right spot. The bottle is bigger than the Thrush Buster small bottle. I don't see a difference. It's a got to have in the barn. All this rain and mud. We keep the farrier visits on every 6 weeks and she says their all fine.

This medication is a slightly thicker, blue color and seems to last longer in the hoof than the green types. The applicator bottle seems marginally better than the notoriously leaky green type. The efficacy of the medication seems on-par, maybe even a bit better than the green type.

I have used an array of thrush preventers over the years, and this is by far the most effective. I also like that it is colored blue so you know where it is and isn't getting applied. It does stain clothes, so be careful for the overspray. I don't buy or use anything else since having switched to Vetericyn.

As a Hoof Rehab Specialist, I am always looking for better solutions. And seeing as though the Vetericyn wound spray works great, I decided to try this hoof spray on a horse that has seedy toe, thrush deep in the frog sulcus, and lots of small cracks (white hooves stomping flies all day long) that end up harboring bacteria and then refuse to grow out as a result.By the 3rd application, about 8-9 days after starting to use it, I noticed a marked improvement in the horses hooves, specifically the thrushy frogs. I applied it 3x in the first 8-9 days, then once a week after that. By the time 1 month rolled around, the majority of the horses small cracks had grown out with just the one largest crack still there but improving. Seedy toe is almost completely gone, just a couple small spots that remain to grow out and will likely get trimmed off at the next trim. The surface of the frog and edges of the frog are thrush free now, with just the deep sulcus still having some thrush. I will continue to spray into the sulcus at least once a week until it's all healed. I've also noticed that all 4 hooves, the heels have expanded approximately 1 cm in width due to the frogs starting to heal and fill in with healthier tissue.Okay, so now to the downsides... This stuff is a complete mess and it stains anything and everything within 2ft of the spray. Even when I try to spray as slow and easy as I can, it shoots out with such pressure that it bounces off the hoof and all over your arms, clothes, etc. The picture on my review that shows my fingers, you can see blue around my cuticles. I was wearing gloves AND washed immediately. The last time I used the product was exactly 1 week ago and I've had 5 showers since then, and the blue stain remains. It's crazy messy and stains hard. So, if the manufacturer is reading this, PLEASE change how your product is dispensed. I've ruined several pairs of gloves already, 1 pair of pants and 1 shirt. That's not cool. I've opened the bottle and poured the blue liquid into a 4oz vial that has a squeeze dropper and this works WAY better as I'm able to dispense the liquid precisely where it's needed drop by drop without any of it propelling back at me and ruining my clothes and gloves. And using a dropper bottle like this minimizes how much product gets wasted. All in all, though, as an experienced hoof rehab specialist, I haven't found a more effective product to fight bacterial and fungal issues of the hoof. Regardless of the messy and wasteful spray dispenser, it is still very much worth the money paid because it's very effective.
