This palm kernel oil based machine oil has been a good find. I originally got it for use with my hair clippers, and it has been working well for that purpose. As a bonus, it's also suitable for my sewing machine and other household tools, which adds value.Another benefit is that it avoids the issues sometimes caused by petroleum-based oils, making it safer for use on a wider range of materials and devices. My only worry is if this will gunk up or become more viscous over time but is just speculation that is not based on any evidence. If anything like that happens I will update my review however.At the time of review, it was priced at 9 bucks for an 8 fl oz bottle, which I think is a great deal. I’m happy with the performance so far and recommend giving it a try.

It says that this is hair clipper oil and light machine oil, but to me, it's just light machine oil. Maybe for hair clippers as well, but as far as I know that's what they use. So I needed it for other purposes. Because this is viscous and doesn't leave what you use it on gummy, it's good for more precise lubricating needs where you need the oil to flow into small areas. For example, scissors, small tools, decorative box hinges, locks, etc. It's good stuff and worked well for me. It's a generous amount too. Being non-toxic is an added bonus.

From the bottle and its turn-lock top to the performance of the oil itself, this is a five star product! I have three clippers that I use for various tasks and all three were made new again after applying this oil to the clipper head and assemblies. The oil itself has transformed the cutting ability and sound of each clipper. I'm also happy at the longevity of the oil's performance. A little goes a very long way, so this bottle will last for a long, long time. Highly recommended, especially for Amazon's low listed selling price.
