I'm using these to store some Christmas decorations under my deck. They are holding up well in a shaded space but exposed to the harsh mountain winter. They've been in use for about 16 months with no serious signs of wear and tear.

Besides the use in the title, the Velcro straps are heavy duty, available in various widths with a heavy duty snap hook. Often used as garden hose hangers or so many other uses where it’s easier to have open ends to wrap around or through tree limbs, pipe or??? with non-scratching material.

I'm in the middle of a garage clean and purge, and attempting to hang some things up along the way. I've been using various hooks and whatnot; the tried and true big nail approach; various peg hooks that fall out of pegboard. Etc, etc.I'm trying to make use of as much space as I can by doubling things up. i.e. Hang something off overhead racks. Things like that.Then I stumbled on this and thought it might be great for hanging up things like my leaf blower, brushcutter, etc. I have not actually DONE that yet, but I love this thing already. It's well made and tough. The carabiner and strap are not cheesy. I'm gonna get a few of these. I'm impressed with the quality and usefulness.One side note on size. The 16" is pretty short. That's then entire length. You have to double up the strap to close the velcro, so you are not getting anywhere 16" of strap length. I expected that, but it was still quite a bit shorter than I was expecting. So you might want to take that into account and go up a size if you are not just buying the longest one they make.Great hanging strap, though.

I'm using this little holder to keep my lounge chair off of my garage floor. I think this little clip works best for items that can't quite fit on a standard hook. When I tried hooking the chair directly onto the existing hooks in the garage, the chair ended up coming partially unfolded. With this clip, I was able to cinch the chair legs and keep it in the folded position.The product description indicates that this item can hold up to 150 pounds. I can't imagine hanging something that heavy off of it though. The weight limit caught my eye, but in practical terms, I don't think I would want to hang a 150 pound item on a little clip where the item could end up swinging around. I think this product would be best used for much lighter objects that you simply don't want to place on the floor.

All of the materials and workmanship are excellent. Nothing there to complain about at all.My only issue is the size.I got the small one because it claims to be 16 inches, which I thought would be plenty long for my needs, but it turns out that is very misleading.While the strap does measure about 16 inches from tip to tip, much of that is either unusable or doubled up to close the velcro, so the actual usable length is only about 9 inches, giving you a circular enclosure with only about a 3 inch diameter.So even though this thing is built to hold a lot of weight, I don't think you're going to need that much strength considering how much it can actually reach around and secure.Bottom line, the quality is excellent, but you're probably going to need a larger size than you think, and the cost is a bit pricey compared to other competitive products, so value is up to you and current pricing.I hope that helps. I chose the 16-inch option of this Velcro strap and it is sturdy, strong and very handy. I am impressed with how heavy, thick, strong, smooth, shiny and overall hefty the metal hardware is. The carabiner has a strong spring that keeps it closed securely. The hardware also includes a swivel so the carabiner can spin to whatever direction works best at the moment for whatever it is holding. The velcro strap is strong and well made. The webbing is strong, and so is the stitching and the Velcro. The fabric strap is 16 inches long, not including the hardware. About 13 inches of the strap is covered in Velcro on one side.Overall, this Velcro carabiner strap is well made and heavy duty. You can probably think of a million ways to use it in your home or garage for hanging, holding or otherwise storing all kinds of things from extension cords to Christmas light strings to tools to bicycles to folding chairs and more, more more.

This is a really nice strap, and attached to a really good heavy duty carabiner. The item claims to hold 250 pounds, and I think that is likely accurate. While there is a warning saying it is not meant to hold human weight, I did try testing out the device by seeing if it would hold my weight, and holding the strap it was able to hold me up off of the ground easily; I weigh about 175 pounds. It held my weight without any indication that it was straining it. I also did not hear or feel the Velcro acting like it wanted to give out, instead it held perfectly. The carabiner is particularly solid and heavy duty. I do have many carabiners here at home, but this is definitely the most solid and heavy duty and also just the heaviest in weight. It is also well-built regarding the function of the spring arm which has a nice strong spring which returns the arm consistently to the right position. The metal hardware that the carabiner is attached to, which holds the strap, is also very solid. The strap itself is solid and is easy to open and close. I will attach a photo to show you the strap. This is a nice strap. I like it.
