This gadget is absolutely indispensable for making egg salad!! You can crosscut the eggs like a pro!!

Does a great job slicing strawberries, eggs and even mushrooms! I like how it can be stored in the stand up position too. Had one already and bought this for a gift.

I have used this slicer on strawberries, mushrooms and hardboiled eggs. I thought it worked well on the strawberries and the mushrooms, but I didn't like the eggs cut with the serrated blade. It is very handy to keep available standing on the counter.

So far I’ve only used it for slicing mushrooms. It did an excellent job without squishing them, easy to handle when slicing and very easy to clean.

The cutting blades and the base are not aligned properly.The result is that when you try to cut bigger mushroom then 1 inch in diameter, the blades hang upat the base, so it does not want to cut true.
