I'm really happy with this ottoman cover. I got it specifically because it said that you can fill it yourself with things you already have (I didn't want to have to go buy a bunch of filling stuff--I love the idea of reusing/repurposing!). The cylindrical shape of the ottoman means it holds a lot--a lot more than I expected! I've got so many blankets and sheets in this, it was a hoot to fill it up! It's also neat because I found that I could layer things for stability and depending on how I wanted the ottoman to feel. So I actually took a while filling, removing things, and refilling it. I found that a sturdy base of towels rolled up in the bottom makes it nice and stable. Then I did a solid "core" of a couple of cotton blankets, wrapped an old comforter around those, then wrapped *that* bundle with some sheets, and from there just added what I needed to to make it nice and firmly filled out.I also LOVE that this is a smooth leather like material! So many fillable ottoman covers are fleece or faux fur, and in my house, with my dogs, that would be putting down a dog hair magnet! This cover is easy to wipe clean if I need to, and doesn't attract dog hair. The way I have it filled I can set a tray or a book down on top, and it stays steady.It's not huge, but it's not tiny, so it fits anywhere I want to put it--it's so handy to have, and I'm looking forward to my next one arriving, because I definitely want to have at least two!

Great for a footrest/storage. I’m using it to stuff my spare bed bedding into for storage and as an added benefit it’s a nice little ottoman footrest when it’s full. The material is nice and matches closely a chair I have so it goes well with the room.
