The benefits of embroidering with rayon viscose threads
The rayon made from viscose has a similar structure to cotton and therefore offers feel and texture resembling those of natural fibres. The threads are soft, smooth, skin-friendly and pleasant to touch. The embroidered elements are shown in brilliant, vivid colours with a beautiful lustre. The flexibility of Classic threads allows you to embroider anywhere on the garment, in any direction and using diverse techniques.
From logos, interior textiles, sportswear and corporate fashion, to leather shoes, accessories and jeans, they easily and beautifully create the most intricate designs on all kinds of materials.
Viscose threads are also very gentle on the embroidery machine and run extremely smoothly. Because of the thread’s high lightfastness and resistance to washing temperatures of up to 95°C, the garments can be flexibly cleaned and keep their beauty over time.

The thread is indeed very soft. Unfortunately, the majority are quite dull in color and many of the colors are very similar to each other and not colors I typically wouldtt use. If I could do it over again, would have ordered just the colors I needed and not this package deal.Also, the thread frays and snags easily, especially when trimming the jump stitches. This is a bit annoying. I am happy with the thread overall for the price, but I’ve had much better quality for not much more. This is middle of the ground embroidery thread. Not terrible, but not fantastic. I will be using this for items not laundered or worn much and mostly for practicing new designs and fonts. For things I want to last, I wouldn’t use this embroidery thread based on its performance.

Smooth stitch out! Each of the spools were easy to find the start end. Plus they threw in some bobbins (empty) thread spool nets and a piece of tear away Only thing to make this set better would be a second lighter blue.

I really enjoyed embroidering with this thread. The color are vibrant, and shiny , just beautiful. No fraying or breakage. I ran a design with 11 color changes and 2 hours run time. I would absolutely recommend this new thread from simthread.

Quick delivery. The sheen is beautiful. Looks like the church lights have been turned on. No thread breakage with this design. Some say it unravels easy but I had no problem. I think we all have our ways of managing our thread. The muted red thread is a polyester, used only because my color choices was limited. Will be framing and not washing this project so will have to try a washable project next. (Design is from embroidery library)

Bright and shiny colors. This thread worked well on my Baby Lock embroidery machine, though I suggest using a slower speed for best results. I think it’s better for stand-alone embroidery designs than in-the-hoop projects.

Beautiful threads! The rayon sheen is sooo nice! Looks luxurious. The threads stitched great! No shedding, slipping or breakage. I’m very impressed with this new Rayon line from Simthread and I think you will be too! Highly recommend!
