We have a tradition of doing tie dye parties for my son’s birthdays. I always get a second kit just in case, but have never needed it. This year we did about 2 dozen shirts, two dresses, and three sweatshirts. This is not just a squirt either - real saturation! They’ve lasted from prior years’ parties until they’re outgrown with no fading. I love this product - it’s a ton of fun.Product definitely works best when the garments have been pre-washed and are damp at application.

Love this product. This is the only brand I order to tie dye. I tie dye shirts with my students at the end of each year and this is what I always order. I never run out of dye and the colors are so bright after washing.

This kit provided great, rich colors and was easy to use. There are rubber bands and gloves in the box. There was enough color to dye 6 XL t shirts and a queen sized sheet and used less than half of the dye. I recommend getting something like a cooling rack with a tray beneath to set an item on while dying. Also, be sure to really soak your item through with color. I also recommend washing your items a couple times before dying (most fabrics have treatments on them).

Our family tir-dyes shirts every Mother's Day, and I bought this kit for this past year's event. Everybody had a shot at the color that they wanted, and we had a lot left over after six shirts, a pair of shorts, two pairs of socks, and a pull over for the dog.

What is extremely impressed with the size and the amount that you get in each bottle and a wonderful display in a cute little carry pack. I have not used them yet on this purchase, but I have use these before.I wanted to get more of the colors that I really utilized when I just made my last round of tie-dyes… stay tuned as I will post another post after I use these and the results of them on shirts.

This kit was really easy to use and we had lots left over. We did 15 kids size 8 cotton t-shirts and two xl adult shirts and I’d estimate we could easily do 10 more kids size shirts with what is left over. The product information says you do not have to use soda ash but I soaked the shirts for a few minutes before dying anyway to be sure. These are the shirts after being rinsed, washed and dried! I washed each shirt separately on a cold quick cycle and there was no bleeding. The shirts have been washed a few times and are color fast with little fading. The kiddos had a blast with this project. I will note the description listed a lime green. That was not a color included in our kit, we had a red, pink, orange, yellow,green (teal), purple, light blue and navy blue.

VERY easy to mix up, comes with everything you need with gloves, rubber bands, tons of colors... BUT we used on cotton, followed all directions, and the colors still faded a tiny bit. Otherwise a great product!!!
