I recently purchased the Tough Squeaky Dog Toys for aggressive chewers, and I couldn't be happier! Typically, my dog destroys toys within a few days, but this one has lasted over a week and is still in fantastic shape. My dog absolutely loves playing with it, showing no signs of wear despite his strong chewing. If you're looking for a durable toy that can withstand heavy chewing and keep your pup entertained, I highly recommend this one!

This is fairly heavy, my little dog (52lb staffie, rottie, boxer mix) doesn’t love it, but he has played with it. However, the big lab (92lbs), loves it. It is ok to toss, he can squeak it with his large mouth and giant teeth - no problem. He plays with it and it keeps him pretty entertained. It bounces fairly well. This has been played with quite a bit and shows a little dirt, but is holding up very well. It’s pretty thick, so much so - it is hard for me to squeeze and make squeak. Definitely, good for an aggressive chewer. I did not notice any smells.

I have three dogs, two are aggressive chewers. Usually chew toys do not last longer than a couple of days with these two. When I got this chew toy, they were immediately interested and actually took turns chewing on it. It has been several days and I am impressed with how this is holding up. There are some two marks on it, but that is to be expected usually by this time The chew toy is in the trash because of it not holding up. This one is different. It is still in great shape.

We have 2 bulldogs that qualify as “aggressive chewers” not in their veracity, but in their persistence. It’s rare that we have a soft new chew toy or ball last more than a few days. The rigid hard ones will last longer, but they don’t seem to enjoy them as much. They particularly enjoy the toys and balls that squeak, but usually they will pull them apart within a few hours/days so they no longer squeak.This football shaped toy is made of a very firm rubber yet still is slightly squishy and it squeaks. It says “indestructible” in the product description and I don’t know if that’s true, but so far it really doesn’t have a mark on it and I think it will last a long time. Usually the squeaker is one of the first things to go so I’ll be interested to see how long that lasts, but so far so good.It’s got little ridges around it to also keep them interested while chewing.This toy is currently on sale for $6.99 (after a $3 coupon), which is an incredible deal especially if you consider that it is delivered to your door for free. Calling something indestructible is setting yourself up for some high expectations. While I know no SAFE toy can actually be completely indestructible, I definitely have higher standards and different expectations than just “a regular toy.” I expect the product to be able to withstand a lot, and last a lot longer than a regular toy. If you’re going to call something indestructible, in my opinion it should at least last 2 days before pieces start coming off. And I mean this in a reasonable way. Not with the dog having it in its possession for hours at a time or just having it the entire time in the two days. (Technically if it’s indestructible this should be possible. And frankly…..don’t call it that if it’s not). But since there’s a whole group of toys called this, I’ll just judge it accordingly.This toy didn’t even last 45 minutes! (very close though lol). Approximately 40-43 minutes of my dog having this toy the squeaker was already out. No he wasn’t sitting there chewing on it the whole entire time. We played fetch with it, and we played chase with it for a while. You know, when they take it and run while you chase them around pretending you wanna take the gross slobbery thing back? And then when I got tired because I’m out of shape, I let him take it into his lair. His toy dungeon where nothing ever returns from. Now, they made claims it could withstand aggressive chewing, and it’s supposed to be for his size. (M/L dogs. He is 60 lbs) They mention for large dogs several times. I don’t think it’s unreasonable of me to expect at least an hour out of any toy claiming to be heavy duty or INDESTRUCTIBLE. I circled the time I gave it to him, and the time that he got bored and stopped playing with it. He was quiet and it got my attention and that’s when I saw the squeaker was out. He was satisfied and decided to take a nap after his great conquest lol.You should also know that this thing is kinda hard and kinda heavy. It’s shaped like a football, but I don’t recommend throwing it around in the house much. It could easily break something. It doesn’t bounce much. I’m giving it 3 stars because he got the squeaker out Wednesday, BUT he is still willing to pick at it sometimes and it’s not completely torn apart yet and today is Saturday. He doesn’t play with it everyday because I don’t always feel like cleaning up all the small pieces. Since it has a hole in it now, I’ll probably put some peanut butter in it and let him finish destroying it slowly as long as he’s willing to do so. So it’s not a useless toy. I just think calling it indestructible or even heavy duty is misleading. It didn’t even last an hour. But it still lasted longer than the average tennis ball or regular toy. So it would give your dog some entertainment for a while, just don’t expect it to be a long while if they’re truly an aggressive chewer.

To be fair, my dog can chew through a brick, so we have not found a "indestructible" toy he can't destroy. That being said, this toy has lived through two days of on & off play & chewing. Most do not make it more than 15 to 20 minutes. I think the reason it has held up so far is it doesn't have a surface that is easy for him to get a good hold on and tear off. The end of the toy did pop out, but I was able to pop it back in and so far, it has stayed in place. If you have a tough chewer like our pup, if you keep an eye on it, this toy appears to last better than many others. If your dog is a little more gentle, this toy will last much longer.
