I like this hammer, but I am going to have to do some cleanup on it, it has welding spall all over it, the handle has metal spatter on it leaving sharp spots, and the head is covered in spall and the welds are a little gnarly looking. I think if they chipped off the spatter before painting it I would have been 100% happy. I will take my grinder to it and clean up the welds and remove the spall then repaint it, but I was not expecting to have to do this. Overall its OK for the price point, but with a little attention to detail and cleanup it could have been a much nicer and better finished product.

The hammer is sturdy and will work for exercise. However mine is extremely flawed and parts of it are falsely advertised. The welding on the plates isn't very clean, nowhere near what the pictures show. The handle is labeled to be two inches in diameter but is barely over one inch, and there are defects that cut into the palm when in use. It weighs about a pound and a half less than advertised.

Good solid build. Easy to fill, and fun to work out with. The handle is textured so it doesnt slip, the welds are good. The balance changes as the loose weight sand shifts, but I like the effect, it makes for a challenge.

I cant say enough about it. After double shoulder surgery I need to maintain their health. Not only is this thing AWESOME looking and sturdy but it works the way steel maces and even kettlebells do. You can do all the same movements with it. I cant speak enough good about this purchase. Also I can do shoulder work any day lf the week. Right at home. You can do full body workouts with it if you follow some of the steel mace flow movements.

the trouble with most exercise gear for home is motivation---home is for relaxing, not training. but who wouldn't want to train with this?!? --its freaking awesome. and heavy. great for forearms. unloaded i'm starting with a mid-handle grip, and resistance goes up the further you grab from the hammer. and you can always add load (sand). and it also works for home defense, if you're a badass.

I purchased this as sort of a test run. I have been eyeballing a similar product from another company for almost 300 dollars. So, I figured 45 bucks? Give it a shot.Well, I love it. I ended up getting two.It's built really well. Much better than I expected. It looks awesome and feels even better. Once you grab it you feel like a super hero.I'm glad it worked out. Because Titan has a lot of stuff that I like. I am dieing to get my hands on the 12" Strongman Log! And I am definitely getting some farmer's walk handles. And the adjustable plot box to.They have a fan in me.

Awesome! Feels great in the hands. Solid. Not cheaply made at all. I can’t believe I considered getting a similar one for $150!!Great price, get it! I’m probably going to buy a second one. I painted the Thurisaz rune on it for inspiration, and because it looks badass.
