As a lot of people have noted, this jig is very solid and seems well-made. I especially enjoy being able to "0" out the jig; unlike other jigs where you set it against your saw blade (which gives an increment reading that isn't 0; then you have to calculate the distance between the increment reading and the desired thickness).The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because when making rips I noticed the 'cut' lever starting to creep towards 'align' due to the vibration of the saw. Hopefully this won't be an issue; as the 'cut' setting is what provides a lot of the kickback protection. I'll update this review if it becomes a problem and I'd still buy this again because it's great otherwise.

The Con - Not really good for Thin Rip, rollers are not "rollers" they do not move, they're "grippers", the "rollers" once set to the cut position still flex too. As mention by another user they will ultimately mare the wood. All and all there are other units more dedicated for Thin Rip.The Pro - it's heavy, made well, three track guides, good micro adjust and makes a good featherboard. Now if Zozen is listening (are you listening Zozen?). The black top piece of the unit is held by two screws, one on each side, comes off pretty easy. Zozen, why not construct a second head unit with three moveable one way rollers and your micro adjust for the owner to add or remove for Thin Rip? I'm not a Vine'ee, I paid for the unit and this is good advice for you Zozen.
