This duvet cover is beautiful, however, it is not as soft as you would a blanket to be upon opening. It needs washed before use a couple times. The texture is rough at first yet still felt high quality once on my bed.Now, my husband and I do cosleep with our 8 month old but I had to remove this cover and go back our summer quilt. The cover is extremely warm. If your home is cold, you are cold natured or live in Alaska; this cover is perfect! We even use a cooling duvet, but it made no difference.I will be using this in the winter, however.

I have been looking for a duvet for awhile, but I am very picky. I came across this one and it was exactly what I wanted. I trusted the reviews and I’m so glad I did!! It’s soft but heavy/thick (with duvet insert) and is great quality. Looks exactly like the picture! Buy it!!

I was slightly reluctant to order due to only 1 review but I'm glad I did. So soft! The cotton feels very soft and comfortable. I actually bought this duvet set for the fabric. I purchased 2 euro shams of the same "100% washed cotton" taupe/white check print fabric ( different seller), for an accent print to go with our bedding, which I love! I wanted to find a matching bed skirt and shower curtain in this print which I could not find available anywhere! I looked and saved several bedding options in this fabric and print trying to find a match. I thought I would buy the King size duvet set for the fabric and make my own (the center of the bed skirt will just be made from an inexpensive white cotton flat sheet). A bonus is the already completed ruffle which I don't have to try to make myself.😊 The King size allows for plenty of fabric to work with for the 2 items I want to make & probably some left over for other things. A little pricy for thin cotton, but the fact that I couldn't find what I wanted in this fabric and not having to make all the ruffles makes it worth it for me. It's so pretty I almost don't want to deconstruct it! I will update when I get around to making the items from the fabric. It was delivered earlier that was expected (early on the 3rd day) packaged nicely in a handled zippered fabric bag, which was also in a plastic bag to protect the fabric zippered storage bag. I can not attest to durability for it's intended use but the fabric is very nice & if a flat sheet is used between you and the bedding it will stay that way longer.The color I feel is perfect. Darker than what you would think of as taupe. A light cocoa brown (Does not have that orange tone as shown in the close up images) and white cotton check Which looks fresh and crisp. I really is so pretty! To the maker & seller, If other items in this fabric were available, I feel they would sell very well - such as a Bed Skirt & Shower Curtain & other 😊
