2014 sonata. the original OEM lock failed after 10 years. bought this and item was a perfect fit. installed on dec 2024.UPDATE: door lock has failed today feb 2025. 2 months. you get what you pay for. ended up buying the OEM lock from hyundai

Quickly replaces an old worn out unit. First indication of failure will be an intermittent courtesy light, followed by a mechanical failure due to how the graphite contacts are made.Not sure if it's cheaper than a genuine part, bit you'll almost definitely get it quicker from Amazon!

This lock worked great on my 2014 Sonata. The part itself was a perfect match to the OEM part and cost a fraction of what the dealer wanted. Make sure you watch several YouTube videos on how to remove the old lock and install the new because they helped me tremendously. Hyundai did not make the part easy to get to, but the videos I watched had step by step directions.
