It works to get thru an inspection but if your planning on doing alot of night time riding, look else where. This headlight is not bright at all, and the brights don't do anything either. The color halo is cool but kinda annoying to use since you have to turn it off and on every time you turn your bike on and off or it will drain the battery. Looking for a different headlight now since I plan on doing more riding at later times.

I put this light in a universal housing. It was easy to install. It's bright but not a bright as I thought it would be. It's on my wife's bike so she really likes being able to have a pink halo around the light. You'll want to add a switch to turn the halo on/off or you have to use the remote. It does stay on the selected color when it's turned off/on. The halo could be wired to always come on when the headlight is on.

This light was a plug and play for my 04 Roadstar. Nice and bright and the halo is a really unique feature. I would definitely recommend this for an upgrade.

Install was very easy. This light is super bright, way better than the OEM bulb headlight that came with this bike. The RGB halo adds a very cool aspect to it, worth paying more for it. These aren’t bike specific, so expect to have to modify some things to keep the light secure in your headlight bucket. Don’t be all mad if it’s loose, fill the gaps with adhesive foam strips to secure it. It would be nice if SunPie included a foam gasket, if they did that, I would have given this 5 stars.

Only thing bad about this light is that when the RBG is hooked up it’s pulling constant power, deff a batter killer even when plugged into a tender.

Good light. Really bright. Came with the correct hi/lo harness for my bike. App for halo is ok, I prefer the remote as I used velcro to attach it to console for quick on/off and change halo color. Running the cable for the halo portion is a little tricky. There's a video on you tube shows the guy taking the fuel tank off. Don't need to do that. I just gently fished cable through tank with a coat hanger attached by a zip tie. Other than that, it's a breeze. We'll see how it holds up.

I thought it might be fun to have a color-changing halo for my bike. I have a 1994 Haraitage custom and many parts are no longer available. To provide power to the color selecting device, a wire is attached to the battery. The wire is then fed up to the headlight, I would need to drill a hole in my headlight housing in order to connect it to the light. I considered trying to get the power from the back of the light, (just tape the hot from one of the positive leads) but this might not work as the color modulator appears to need a constant supply of power and may get reset every time I key the bike on and off. I decided to go without the halo and did not test my theory. P.S. I never give a low score based on my misunderstandings of how a product works I will therefore give this a 5 star as the light is bright.If the color modual could be installed in the headlight housing without modification I would have installed it, however I returned it.
