Active carbon (AC) is one of the best filters for any aquarium. Whether you own a turtle tank, reef tank, small pond, saltwater or freshwater aquarium, it filters out nasties. The 10 oz. Activated carbon pack comes in a mesh bag which will keep the carbon contained and still allow the water to flow through.
Why choose Activated Carbon if you may need to use different filters?

You get what you see in the picture, a bag with 1 cup and about a quarter of a cup of carbon. Hopefully this stuff preforms miracles because I could have got a lot more for another five or ten dollars.

It’s activated charcoal. Nothing too fancy about it. It comes in a black netting bag for use in aquariums. I got these because they are charcoal pellets which I specifically needed for a project.

Don't buy this unless you want to take 4 hours going through it piece by piece . This will definitely destroy your water as alot of the charcoal pieces are soft and will crumble under water or to the touch and turn your water black.

Use this for my glass carbon filter for my bong, smooth rips and it catches a lot more tar, sucks for aquariums, right for bongs

Trash, worst product I've ever bought from Amazon. Followed instructions and washed prior to use. Turned my entire 200 gallon tank black even after filter.Washed and replaced filter 3 times same effect. TERRIBLE
