I really like this lantern. It is made of metal with a finish that mimics copper. The plastic solar light, on the top, fits snugly. The designs are cut very well so the images on the ground look sharp, but the lantern doesn't have sharp edges. The handle is nice and a good length for hanging. There is also a notch on the handle to keep the lantern straight on the hook you use to hang it. A large S hook is provided if needed. On a sunny day in June the lantern came on at 9:30pm and was still on when the sun was rising. Cloudy days it shines about the same amount of time, but not as bright. I even left it on my covered porch on a cloudy day and there was still a dimmer light at 3:30am. It gives my garden some life in the dark hours.

The lantern is solar but you do need to turn it on first. The switch to turn it on is underneath the top. You will need to turn it on then leave it in the sun for several hours before it will turn on. Once it does turn on, you will see how beautiful it looks. I have it on a table and it lights up the table and my plants. It illuminates only a short distance but it’s more than enough. It’s a pretty pattern.

This little solar light is really pretty. It looks exactly like in the pictures. It is quite bright and reflects a cute pattern when lit. The light lasts very long and adds great ambiance to our rose arbor. The lantern is surprisingly sturdy and well made. While the instructions are a bit confusing, I figured it out.

Simple and beautiful lighting, perfect for my camping space or front porch. The light is solar powered and the projections from the cutouts are accurate and work at most distances from the ground or objects to the sides where the light falls onto it.You can take the solar panel battery pack out of the light housing and charge in different areas if needed which is a nice touch. I like that the panel and battery are enclosed together and is waterproof for rain/show.This would be a perfect gift for an RV camper person, or for those that like to sit out on their porch in the evenings to add a flare of artistic light. Recommended!

This is a very well made durable, metal solar light. The artwork and pattern are gorgeous and cast a beautiful pattern of light. The top is removed to turn the lantern on. The handle is removable, which made it easy for me to hang on the branch of a small tree on the edge of my yard. With that said, there is a S hook included which is helpful. The removable solar panel allows me to simply remove the panel and put the panel in full sunlight once the foliage on my tree becomes thick and might start to block sunlight to charge it. It is convenient that I don't have to pull the entire lamp down to charge it. The light on the lantern creates a beautiful atmosphere. It is a low, decorative light, I would say much like candlelight. I have a few of these in my tree and they cast enough light for my dog to visit his favorite tree at night.This is a gorgeous, high quality solar light and I am very happy with it.

What can I say? This is the cutest little solar charged lantern! I don’t know what I was expecting, but must not have paid attention to the description very well: the lantern is actually ‘copper colored’ metal! There are sweet little flower and butterfly cutouts, as well as other decorative patterns, along the sides of the lantern. As you can see in the photo, the light streams out from the design cutouts casting them onto the surrounding area. My neighbor came over to have a glass of wine, and now she is going to order a lantern, too. All I can say is if you want this little cutie, you might want to hurry, because I have a feeling it’s going to fly off the shelves.

This decorative outdoor lantern can be used anywhere outside. Charges easily in a sunny spot. Can be used either on a table or hanging from a small yard flag pole to see the effects of the light design. The light design looks just like the product photo but it is actually prettier in person. Lantern is equally attractive during the day. I highly recommend this lantern if you are looking to elevate your outdoor space! This is a sturdy, attractive lantern and I will be ordering more of these!
