This was a Mother’s Day hit...until she opened the box. The picture looked adorable, the light-up base is a cute touch, and 158 pieces seemed totally doable. Spoiler: it wasn’t.The instructions might as well have been written by an abstract poet. My sister stepped in thinking she’d have it done in 20 minutes. A couple hours later, they were both hunched over the table like FBI codebreakers trying to assemble floral Legos from a parallel universe.Installing batteries (not included) was a bit weird. The cover for two AAA batteries snaps into place but also has a screw. We should have installed the batteries before assembling the flower because the cover was stuck and there were a few tense moments where we were concerned the whole thing might fall apart while we pried it open.To be fair, the pieces seem sturdy, if small, and the final result looked lovely. But be warned: this isn’t a relaxing weekend project it’s a family test of patience and communication.

Another smaller than standard brick-size (mini, opposed to nano, I THINK) enclosed bouquet set. These are beautiful little builds that display quite nicely in most settings without necessarily making the surroundings look like a kid's playroom. Definitely geared more towards the adult builder, but still good fun for the kiddos who are old enough to know toys don't go in their mouths. 😉

This pink rose set is both beautiful and enjoyable to build. The instructions are clear, and the pieces fit together seamlessly. The light-up base adds a charming glow, and the transparent cover keeps it dust-free.

This made such a cute gift for teacher appreciation. The pink is a nice shade, not garish at all. The dome adds a special touch. The only thing I would change is the base color. The light yellow looks a bit cheap. If it was brown, it would compliment the whole set better.

This wasn't that great of a set. Some of the pieces are hard to put together, while others feel loose and won't stay together. It does feel a little fragile. The directions were not that bad, and they give a few extra parts. The lighted base is very dim and does nothing for the build. It was a bit over prices for the look of this. Something just looks a bit off in person

This is a lovely little (and I mean little) brick build. The bricks are tiny in comparison to regular sized legos. This is a more delicate project so I wouldn't think it would be ideal for children simply because the pieces are just so small. The finished product turned out really nice, although there were a few issues with the bricks staying connected to one another an not easily breaking off when trying to attach another piece. I made the mistake of not putting the batteries in first, nothing in the directions addresses anything to do with the batteries, just with building the flowers. You have to unscrew the battery compartment so it's a bit of a process and you won't want to do that with the flowers already assembled.

Sunflower Building Toy Set, 251 peices, took about an hour to sort and assemble. All the pieces were there and then some, sadly I was alittle rough in one section and broke a piece that didn't have an extra, but its not in a visable spot.Definitely put batteries in first, some pieces were strong and some feel alittle loose, so attempting to put batteries upside down might end in tears.Small hands are good for this, bigger hands could having issues.Easy instructions! I'm impressed with how bright the light is!

Sunflowers are my favorite flower, so this building set was great for me.The set was pretty easy to build and did not take me that long. The bricks are micro bricks, which are smaller than standard bricks from the popular brand. The flowers look great when they are done. The set is a bit fragile. I had issues with the main stems to the larger flowers getting knocked over easily. The tiny flowers are pretty fragile to put on the little stems as well. The dome that goes over the top goes on well, but you do have to make sure everything is turned so it won’t brush the sides or it may fall off.The set takes 2 AAA batteries and lights up. The problem with that is that when the set is built, it is hard to change out the batteries. The compartment has a tiny screw to hold the door in place.Overall, I enjoyed building this set. It makes a nice display piece when it is done.
