Seems like a cool little unit, yet I'm unable to test it because the motor I bought it for is sensorless, and although they say this unit is compatible, it isn't set up for it in the firmware, so you need to connect the RS45-whatever I'm guessing through some sort of serial connection? The booklet/manual has the technical info to do it if that's your thing, but I'm getting too old to mess with making custom serial cables and using Putty to flip a switch in software, so I ordered a different unit.
