Please be aware, I have Prime Overnight shipping, and this took a MONTH to arrive to me. So don’t get it the weekend before a new job, hoping you can go in prepared!Otherwise, it’s everything you might want. The elastic cover is perfectly tensioned, and if you close it quickly it sorts itself smooth, which is a rare little bonus for these type of items.Despite its gorgeous cover, the front clipboard doesn’t leave an imprint if you take a single sheet and write on it. I’m a leftie and I press rather hard into my pen. Still, it hasn’t left behind anything unattractive, like little dents of lettering. The clipboard apparatus is substantial, again with the perfect amount of tension. High quality; neither loose nor difficult.The pad that comes with it is just as described: it’s not enormous or going to last you all year, but it’s just fine and keeps the item chic and thin.Highly recommended as a cute little upgrade for your clipboard and pad!

I love the artwork featured throughout the covers and pocket areas of this sleek yet very usable clip-padfolio. Absolutely gorgeous in person, with vivid colors and clear legibility of the design. The printed material reminds me of coverings for decorative storage boxes, a tiny bit of sheen over a paper feel. As such, it'll gradually take on subtle impressions atop the writing surface.Great size for standard letter sheets and smaller with a clip that is easy to release and doesn't seem to harm papers while holding them. The elastic to close, journal style, is taut enough, as is the little pen loop. The pocket is deep with some room to expand, though lots of contents may yield less flush closure. The legal pad can be slipped out and arrived pristine.I really like this for letter writing and a surface for sticker scene projects. Slim enough but sturdy and a nice substitution for chunkier lap desks. Love it so far!

This item is a combination of a clipboard, folder, and notepad. I've not seen an item like this before. However, the design for the most part brings all three features together in a pretty package.On the front is a metallic hinge that clamps down papers against the hard cardboard that it is affixed to at the top. The hinge is strong enough to hold a good number of sheets of paper. Release the rubber band on the right, and the clipboard opens up like a folder with an expandable pocket on the inner side that rises up a bit less than half the height of the side. The opposite side has a tighter sleeve up to 3/4 of the side in which a notepad can be secured by tucking its cardboard back into the sleeve. This design will allow replacing the notepad once the pages run out. There is a small loop of the same rubber band taped to the back side that serves as a pen holder. And on the back face is a rubber band that can wrap around to keep the folder closed when not in use.The design is pretty clever in combining three different features into one product.However, there are some caveats that I should mention:- The clipboard backing, being simply a piece of cardboard with a thin textured membrane, is susceptible to heavy writing transferring creases through the sheets and on to the surface, marring its original smooth textured surface. Over time, this may even wear out the cardboard material. Therefore, I recommend adding some kind of hard surface under the papers/forms to protect the cardboard cover.- The pen holder loop looks a bit fragile. I recommend not using it. Many clipboards simply clip the pencil/pen above of the papers/forms at the top.Overall, the item is very pretty, and if used with care, should last for a while. Just keep in mind that this is one of the more fragile clipboards around. Don't use this in a car shop, for instance. If you want a rugged clipboard, look elsewhere.The pricing at ~$21 USD is a bit high. However, this item is more style than utilitarian.

The pattern on this clipboard folio is beautiful and sharp, with a satiny texture and rich colors. I was so happy that the bar code sticker on the back peeled off perfectly without any tearing or leftover adhesive! The clip on the front is sturdy and holds tight without leaving blemishes on the paper. The seams are straight and there are not any cheap-looking sloppy folds or edges that peel up.The pocket on the inside left feels like it would be more appropriate to hold a small amount, even though it does have a pleat to help it expand. But of course there’s also a legal pad and a clipboard on top, so I’m satisfied with the storage capacity. I’m a fountain pen user so the pen loop is too small for my pens, but would work for a skinnier pen or most mechanical pencils. The overall material of the clipboard and folio is not as rigid as the classic Masonite clipboards, but it is definitely strong enough to be a sturdy surface for writing, or if, like me, you like to sit in bed and do a crossword. The backing of the legal pad inside also helps support it. It is sturdy enough that it will stay looking nice and keep your papers safe in a bag. The elastic strap holding it together helps that too.The paper in the legal pad that comes with the folio is quite nice. It’s very smooth and takes fountain pen ink very well. It is lined on only one side, while the other is blank.Overall, this folio looks beautiful, the quality is good, the clipboard is secure, and the paper that comes in it is smooth and sturdy. It is nice enough to give as a gift.
