Decent quality thermostat, but be aware, as others in the review section have stated, THIS IS NOT A 180 degree thermostat. Another buyer said his was close to 185. Welp, mine WAN'T EVEN CLOSE to 180. It brings the temp gauge of my car up to 195. I am sure this is correct and it ISN'T the automatic radiator fan control module of the car because I have a high speed auxiliary fan control override on the car to provide all the airflow it would require to bring the coolant temperature down to 180 if the rating of this thermostat was correct. Highly disappointed, I wanted a 180 degree tstat for a reason.

This thermostat fit my truck perfictly, cost much less than one from a parts store, and cleared the error code on my truck. All in all a good deal.

Application charts Specify a 192* F Thermostat, installed one and truck ran hotter than normal. Ford Forums say to install a 185*F thermostat. Installed this one (180*) and truck returned to its normal temperature.

I received a brand new product that was labeled as a 180 degree thermostat. Great product and survived a 12 hour round trip roadtrip to Big Bend National Park with temps hitting over 100 degrees and the truck stayed cool. Fit my 04 F150 4.6L perfectly.

Installed in my 2007 Mustang. Factory was 192 degree. At 60 degree ambient the car would run at 200 degree. With this 180 degree thermostat and a new Mishimoto aluminum radiator the car is running at 192 degree with a 75 degree ambient temperature.

Great thermostat and functions well. Just be advised! Amazon here an Stant on their site lists this as a 180F thermostat. The box and the stamping on the actual item indicates it is a 185F unit though. This is in actuality a 185F thermostat.
