We were pleased to find a stainless steel fountain, with minimal plastic. The water flow is a constant stream. You can remove the lid to refill or simply pour more in (just do it slowly in the center).You can tell by water flow or motor noise if your fountain needs a water refill. The filters help to keep the water clean and clear on cat hair.Our cats love it. We had Drinkwell fountains previously and thought our cats drank a lot of water, they drink significantly more now, which is great for their long term health. I would definitely recommend this cost effective, stainless steel fountain.

My 10 year kitty loves it! She was always drinking from the toilet and faucet, yuck! Now she has her own running water. Whenever I clean it she follows me around the house and anxious for me to plug it back in. It was worth ever cent. I have to admit when I first got it, it was tricky to figure out how to assemble it but once I got the hang of it, its been doing great! I have had it for about a year and it is still running great!

Not a bad filter pack, and lasts a pretty long time. They fit the machine, allows water to move, so allowing the water to circulate within the machine is no trouble. Just check the filters once a month to see if they are still clean, and if they are dirty replace and clean. The blue filters should outlast the white ones in this machine, and if they get dirty, just rinse and clean them out with warm water under the tap.

“We recently got a new kitten because the cat we had went out and never came back. We searched for her, but she couldn’t be found anywhere. We have two dogs: a medium-sized mixed breed and a miniature schnauzer. Initially, we had a large water bowl, but we needed something smaller. My daughter had something similar to this; I’m not sure if it was the same as this one or not. However, I went in search of a similar item on Amazon and found this one. The price was right, so I purchased it. I’m very glad I did—it’s a really nice little fountain that the kitty can drink from easily. Interestingly, the miniature schnauzer prefers it over the bigger bowl, so now only the big dog uses the larger one. I highly recommend this small water fountain for your kitty or little doggies; they’ll thank you for it. Oh, and the replacement filters are quite reasonably priced as well.”
