Also they should have made the scooper metal, it will literally break within a week and there is no where to put the scooper on the litter box which is strange? My large cat can barely fit he used to enjoy circling the circle litter box we had before and now he cant barely fit in this one.. i wouldn’t recommend if you have a large cat- i have 3 cats i think one of them is fine with it but - i wouldnt pick a litter box with a lid cats do not like this- so i thought this would be good with the open top but it kind of makes it hard for them to move around? So ya might give this one away and get a larger metal one..

Beware - dimensions are of the bottom of the litter box - actually measures 16" wide at the largest part in case you are looking to fit in a certain area as I was - seems like it would make a great litter box and if advertised correctly would save people like me from returning

My three boys love this litter box. One boy weighs 18 pounds and he still has room in the box. Super easy to clean! The pee is easily picked up and doesn’t stick to the pan. Loved it so much I purchased three!

Less than the $200 price tag on the other one I’ve seen with these features, that is.This has a lip on the shield that extends about an inch down into the inside of the litter box. While, I haven’t seen it in action yet, logic would suggest that it’s pretty much impossible to get overspray with that. I have an older cat that’s getting arthritic, and I think she’s having difficulty crouching now, so sometimes there’s a spill. I think this will address that problem. (PSA: since I’ve been taking her in for a monthly shots at the vet for her arthritis, this has been less of an issue.)I am delighted with this litter box. It’s going to replace a smaller plastic one that I have, with which litter scatter is an issue. This one is a nice sturdy stainless steel one. I have had two litter boxes that have the shields, but neither one was constructed in such a way to keep things from dripping. This came with a scatter mat, the kind I like that has the three side sewn shut. It comes with a clip on plastic scoop. It remains to be seeing how well that will function, because the slots are pretty wide. It came with little stick on pads.The only other litter box I’ve seen with these features seriously cost $200. And I’ve actually thought about buying them. So to me this price point seems like an excellent buy. I’ve never seen the little wipe your paws feature built right into the shield like this, and I look forward to seeing how well this works. The cats will let me know. It just arrived in the mail today, and I am very pumped about it. I will update if I have anything to add once the cats start using it.Another PSA: our local animal shelter has a cabinet by the front door where one can drop off donations, or pick them up from there. That’s where I’m planning on taking the litter boxes that I will be retiring now that I have this one. It’s a kind way of keeping things out of the landfill, and maybe helping out someone who could use a hand. You may have something like that in your community, too. Cat people are good people.ETA: after living with the litter box for about a week, I just wanted to add that I am loving the litter box, but it’s a thumbs down on the scoop. It’s plastic and has too much flex; the slots are too wide; and the worst thing about it is the tip is curved. The only thing I like about it is a little hook that I can use to dangle off the side of the litter box, and I like that so much that it is with reluctance that I retire the scoop. If the vendor is reading this, the perfect scoop has the same kind of hook yours has, it’s made of metal so it’s easy to clean, it has narrow slots, and it has a flat rather than curved tip. I’m not taking away a star for that because I like this litter box that much. But this is one area in which you could improve.

I've had a huge issue with my Maine Coon getting litter all over the front side of the box and tracking it throughout the room. Completely eliminated! The plastic one I had before smelled awful. I've had this a few weeks and haven't smelled a thing!

Very pleased with my purchase. Extra large litter box without being bulky. Easy to clean, won't tip which is a problem I had with plastic boxes. Love the pad for catching errant wood pellets and the scoop holder. No "cons" for us so far

This litter box is so easy to clean, and waste doesn’t stick to the bottom or sides very much. It was easy to assemble and the mat has been really nice helping to trap litter.

My cats and I both enjoy this! The size is good for my big orange cat. They do not like the lid so I just use the bottom pan. It’s super super easy to clean and does not hold odors. The mat traps litter so nicely it’s not all over my floors anymore!! I am highly impressed!
