I don't know why...I have all new, tighten to the correct torque specs, but once in a while it makes a noisy "clunck" while I'm pedaling, I can't figure why...but it is a not nice sound...Haven't found it why...I have looked at everything and can't find anything lose that could justify that noise.Anyway..everything else is perfect... it is light and they do the job...without that noise, I would give it 5 stars...maybe just me and bad luck..they are working with a Sram GX 1400

One of the bearings was damaged and I had to get a replacement straight from SRAM.

Worked great for a first-time DIY BB replacement on a Specialized Crux. Used Loctite 609 retention compound between bearings and shell. 500 miles in, no BB creaks or clicks at all. Smooth as silk. Wave washers and spacers were useful too. Next time I might go for some slightly nicer bearings and buy the other bits separately, but this made my first time simpler for a reasonable price.Oh, like the other review says, the circlips (split rings) lacking holes for pliers makes them a pain to work with. But not bad enough for me to dock a star.

The circlips (split rings) of this assembly lack holes and are, therefore, unecessarily difficult to install and remove.

Worked as a direct replacement for the stock BB30 assembly on my 2013 Cannondale Trigger 3 29er. These actually feel like they are higher quality than the ones that came on my bike.

Good product, easy to install!! Comes in a nice SRAM box with bearings and all the spacers you will need which comes in great use if you are reinstalling a power meter and it requires spacers.
