I'd give it five stars but it did not come with the o-ring at the firewall, it did have the one at the compressor.

The unit itself was in good condition, works fine, pretty easy installation. The valve core was damaged though and wouldn't hold a vacuum, so had to buy a new valve from a local auto shop.

Bought this for my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Yes, it is the correct part, but it had issues.First issue:It wouldn't fit without finagling the mounting bracket. I had to remove the battery and coolant jug to create room for it to be attached to the ac evaporator, but only by removing the brace for the accumulator. Once attached properly to the evaporator, with the accumulator at a 45 degree angle, I then connected the mounting brace onto the accumulator. Then carefully turned it into the upright position and bolted the brace to the vehicle.Second issue:(Not sure if this is a common one, but it happened to me and it will help you to check this) The Schrader valve on the accumulator was NOT properly tightened. Luckily enough for me, I had a valve tool to tighten it. Unfortunately for me, I found this out after spending an hour and a half vacuuming the ac system and only upon removing the the manifold connectors did I hear the valve sucking air back into the evacuated system. Needless to say, I then had to re-evacuate my ac system AGAIN. Otherwise I would have given this a 5 star rating.

Part fit as it should, but the soft hose is bigger in diameter than the factory one, so expect to use more freon to charge it. Works well, no leaks, a/c works as it should! 2000 jeep grand cherokee 4.7
