Had difficulty with finding how to turn on the lanterns. Their light is very dim in comparison to other solar lights I have on my garden. Would not recommend.

These lights were easy to assemble and install in the ground. Pay attention to the measurements as they are quite small. They do work properly and look nice enough, but they are not very bright, and they seem a bit flimsy, so I don't know how durable they will be. That being said, we've purchased many of these plastic lights over the years and very few make it for more than two seasons.

The solar lights are very bright and last most of the night after all day sun. The lights are lightweight and very easy to install with the included stakes. The lights have a very pretty design.

Small but reasonably bright for the size. The light bulbs are kind of jimmied in so that they don't sit flush with the mount like they should. Spouse thought at first that they didn't work because there were no instructions for taking the "lids" off to turn them on. Possibly worth the current asking price ($7.99) but withholding one star due to size and flimsy-seeming plastic. Will be interesting to see how long they last.

They're.... fine. I placed these alongside the stairs to my front door because they're a little tricky to navigate in the dark. They do provide light, but each one pretty much only illuminates the step it's next to- and there's a lit house next door so it's not like they're fighting against total darkness. They'd be better for just illuminating a flat path, rather than a tricky one.The on-switch is underneath the 'lid' of the lantern part. Twist that off, flip the switch, slide into the stake pieces and stick the lights into lawn or soil.Set up couldn't be easier, but they are very lightweight and since nothing is securing them, it seems like a high wind would send the pieces flying in opposite directions. They'll do for the summer. I don't really expect them to last much longer, but I'd love it if they do!

I ordered this set of two solar lights because they are the same style as my porch lights. But I neglected to convert mm to inches (hey, they looked big in the photos!), so I was surprised when a tiny box arrived. These are petite lights, 15 inches from top to the bottom of the spike, but once in the ground, it's about 11 inches. The windowpane part of the lantern is smaller than a Rubik's cube. They might work in a small isolated garden bed, but they get lost in my yard.Illumination is provided by a single 3000K (yellow) LED, installed at an angle so it looks off-center when lit. These lamps are more decorative than a light source, dimly lighting only a foot or two of the surrounding area.I took a star off for the dimness, and another for construction. The proportions are nice, but unfortunately, the plastic is thin, some edges look abraded, and there is some crud caught between the mullions and translucent shade, including what looks like a dead insect. Not what I was expecting, even at a low price point.
