These are really nice, smaller solar lights that are well built. They are made mostly of metal except for the solar lamp component. They come with black metal scroll style hooks that I haven’t used yet. Wish those were the same finish as the lights. They give off a decently bright glow and function more as an ambient accent light than pathway or area illumination. They give off enough light to see a bit better on my porch at night without turning on my floodlights. They last nearly all night if it was a sunny day.All in all, an excellent deal given that many competitive products are made of plastic versus metal. Recommended.

Unlike other path lights I have purchased recently that are off by middle of the night, these are still lit early in the morning when I leave for work. Also, they have a great look to them.

TL;DR: These solar lanterns are a nice addition to outdoor spaces, providing a decent amount of light and a touch of rustic charm. They're easy to install and operate, and my wife loves how they look on our patio.I picked up this 4-pack of solar lanterns to add some lighting to my patio. First impressions: They have a cool, retro metal design that looks pretty elegant. They feel reasonably well-made, though not super heavy-duty. As for how they work, they're solar-powered, which is convenient. You just flip the switch to "on," and they charge during the day and automatically turn on at night. They’re supposed to provide about 12 hours of light after a 6-8 hour charge. I can say that they turn on at night and stay on until I get up in the morning. Impressive.Setup was very easy. They come with wall hooks, so you just fasten the brackets with screws and hang the lights. Honestly, these lanterns are great for anyone wanting some hassle-free, decorative lighting for their garden, porch, or patio. If you need super bright lights for security, these might not be powerful enough, but for creating a nice ambiance, they’re good.Final Verdict: A good choice for adding charm and gentle lighting to your outdoor space.Rating: ★★★★★

People clamor for EVs with starship-like cockpits, I-phones with AI, and I’m told domestic humanoid robots are right around the corner. Yet the timeless charm of lanterns never seems to go away. Well, here’s an example of a product that crosses old with new, this Solar Lantern 4-pack from the Ahaorigin Store. The product is advertised to be fashioned from “high-quality metal materials” and indeed they are. Both the lantern shades and cages are metal—an important detail here in the desert Southwest were sunlight/UV is absolutely vicious to anything plastic. These lanterns, by the way, come with metal mounting brackets. The “bulb” in these lanterns is crafted to mimic old-school Edison-style incandescent bulbs (but are not removable, so don’t try to “unscrew” them!) The bulbs’ envelopes are real glass (again a plus in our hostile-sunlight environment). Each features a faux “filament” that generates appropriately-warm-color light, when lit.The lanterns are advertised to be “IP65 WATERPROOF,” likely true, given the rubber boot on the on/off switch and solar panel on top, which appears to have been potted in-place.Unfortunately, the potted solar cell is my one concern about the product. I have other solar-powered yard lighting whose panels are glass-topped, and while wear-and-tear from our relentless southwest-US sun is evident, they are still going strong in their fourth season. Plastic-lens/resin-topped solar devices, in contrast, suffer immediate damage around here. In short order, the panels discolor or fog (reducing their charging capability) before failing completely.Given the construction of the solar panel on this product and my experience with products fashioned of similar materials, the lifespan of these (around here) is likely to be a year or two at best. In less hostile climes, their lifespan may be better. All in all, not a bad product.
