This solar light pair are so beautiful, first off I thought this item was chipped on top rim but turns out it is to get solar light from out of the outer layer. I noticed the beautiful coloring almost like a vintage brass color. The light in the middle is pretty big and bright. You can easily hang this item to a tree or use for any decorative ideas outside. I have 2 huge candle holders that I put them inside to give it a very unique look. I like the slate look these solar lanterns give off very vintage. When the solar light glow you get a nice pattern on the ground. Very easy to charge in the sun and can hold a charge great. I also like this product comes with a clip attachment to hang so 2 options to hang clip or hoop. These are very lightweight so if you put in a tree branch they are not to bulky to cause tree branch to droop. I would recommend to others very bright light, lightweight and 2 options for hanging.

These lights are so very pretty!Once you realize that you have to turn them on, they work really well!They charged all day, on one of the first days this spring we’ve had when it was sunny all day. The photo attached as part of this review shows you how they look.The lantern looks like it’s metal and honestly, I thought it was but it is plastic. This isn’t great but it does make them light weight and resistant to weather. No rust worries.They have a vintage look which is really nice and so attractive when they are lit. I am glad I took a chance on these. They stayed lit nearly the entire night. I am a light sleeper who gets up often and each time I looked outside they were lit. They really do look amazing in a tree. You could use them anywhere you can hang a lantern or on a table but in the tree they were especially gorgeous. We have them in 2 separate trees.My only concern is how they will hold up since they are plastic vs. metal. But overall, they are a great solar lantern.

They look nice from a distance. I like the lines and pattern they cast but let’s be honest, they’re super-light cheap plastic, have visible mold lines and a faux brushed metal paint job. The light bulb isn’t replaceable so they are ultimately disposable. They’re small and overpriced for the quality IMO. The product photo with the measurements is correct but the other sample photos make them look much larger than life. I do really like the style of them so I feel bad being so harsh but they feel pretty cheap in hand.

These hanging lanterns come with several integrated options for displaying. The clasp is a nice way to secure the lanterns although we opted to simply hang them from small shepherd hooks lining a little walkway. The warm white is nice and bright to illuminate it's immediate area. Perfect to see where we are placing our feet. While I don't have them on a table, they would be bright enough on a table for sitting around and relaxing, I don't know if they are bright enough to play a game by or have a meal. These lit up right out of the package. At first I thought they were jars, but they are not. It's a large exposed bulb surrounded by copper colored open pieces. The solar panel is a sleek, flat disk that fits on the top of the surrounding copper structure. While they are feather light and not an enclosed jar, they look quite nice and can give a very polished look to a garden area.

They work well, however they are extremely lightweight, they are equivalent to those cheap dollar store halloween decorations you can get, the paint job up close is dry brushed on, and again has that dollar store halloween feel about it. However from a short distance away they look fine. The solar top is fully sealed which is nice, less chance of water damage. You can pull out the unit, and the switch is hidden on the inside. A little weird on how to pop it out, I just stuck my finger in and pushed up. Unfortunately because these are so lightweight, if you hang them as intended, they are likely to fly around and possibly away in a summer or winter storm. I'm going to add a metal weight at the bottom of them, they aren't bad, but wish they weren't made of plastic.

We clipped these to our pop-up tent as an accent light on our last camping trip. They are nice and light so they don't weigh down the canopy, and came on at twilight right as we started to need them. They aren't enough to prep a meal or play a game by, but they help you not to bump into the picnic table. On days when they got a good amount of sun, they lasted well into the wee hours before dawn. We like that they look a little more homelike than many camping accessories do.

I have half a dozen different kinds of solar lights that I use in the yard year round. These are among the brightest. They provide a cheerful look. The clips on them are not the easiest to open, but they work and offer a good option to secure these solar lights. So, even though they are made of plastic, it's less likely they'd be knocked down by wind or a mower as several of my other solar lights have been.

Great look and the look great on the patio.Technical Review:The manufacture is using a conflict of description as to the battery and panel by saying "equipped with 800 mah solar panels"...mAh (milliampere-hour) is fundamentally a unit for measuring battery capacity, NOT the power output of a solar panel.However, in the context of small solar panels, especially those for DIY projects, educational kits, or low-power devices, "800 mAh" usually refers to the current output capability of the solar panel in milliamperes (mA).Here's how to interpret "800 mAh solar panels": It most likely means an 800 mA (milliampere) current output. This refers to the maximum current the solar panel can produce under ideal sunlight conditions.At any rate - these solar lights come on at dusk and off at dawn! The battery life is about the same as my other solar operated lights of the same size. 4 Stars
