I really like this pair of solar lanterns. I was specifically looking for non-glass options as they’re placed outdoors and I don’t want to deal with broken glass. These don’t have any panels at all, which I actually like. The candles charge fine on my west-facing courtyard patio and are lit well into the night, and certainly last longer than I can stay awake. I love that they’re a set-it-and-forget it item and come on at dusk. They offer a nice ambiance to our courtyard and look great paired up next to our terracotta planter. We did get some rain soon after these arrived and I see a bit of rusting on the black metal. I didn’t expect this, so advice is to bring them under cover when rain is expected.

The package arrived in good condition. The overall look is elegant and proportional to each other.The construction seems like thin gauge steel, but it works together as a whole. I am not too sure about the candles- I’ve had them out in the sunshine for a day, but they haven’t turned on. Maybe I need to flip the switch again, but that’s not really a deal breaker for me. They look great as-is.

Lanters are pretty but instruction say you will need tools to change the battery but they don’t tell you what tools! There are 3 tiny holes on the base so what tools do you need ??But they are beautiful looking and very real candle flicker with a warm glow. May buy 2 more!!

This looks really nice setting on my front porch. I was actually pretty surprised when I pulled it out of the box. Everything was in tip top shape and looked really nice. It was easy to get the outdoor candles in the lantern part and the top put on. To turn the candle on, just push the bottom on the button. It is a solar candle so, there is no need for batteries. The candle has a nice warm glow to it.I love the modern lantern look. It looks absolutely gorgeous on my porch. It has such a clean, sleek, charming look to it.

I recently purchased this BAYN Solar Lantern set and overall, I'm really happy with them! The lanterns themselves are very stylish — modern black metal with a nice design that fits beautifully with both outdoor and indoor décor. They add a charming, cozy glow to my deck and would look great on a porch, patio, or even inside.One small issue: one of the candles arrived broken — the light piece that extends into the wick had come loose and dropped to the bottom. Luckily, I was able to fix it by taking the candle apart and resetting the light into the wick. It wasn’t too difficult, but it’s something to be aware of.The solar candles give off a soft, pleasant light, and the overall look is very cute and decorative. I would just caution against leaving them outside in constant exposure to rain, snow, etc., as the build doesn’t seem heavy-duty enough to withstand harsh weather over time.Overall, they’re a great addition for covered outdoor spaces or inside the home — just a little bit of extra care needed!

These arrived well packaged. The lanterns are exactly as pictured on the Amazon page, but in person they look a bit sparse. I do love things that light up the back yard, so I was a bit disappointed when the larger of the lanterns didn't function properly. I gave both lanterns exactly the same amount of Sun, and made sure they were both turned on to charge. Yet, for two nights in a row, they larger of the two lanterns barely puts out any light. I can't quite figure out where the solar element is on these, but since both were oriented toward the Sun and one of them worked, I assume they both should have charged. So, disappointing overall, but the smaller one is good. And not a good value for money at almost fifty dollars.
