These solar light globes are fairly big (measuring approx. 7.88 inches in diameter) and beautiful once fully assembled. The LEDs are quite bright at night without being blinding. The warm yellowish color is a perfect touch for a garden at night, and I love having 8 possible solid/glowing/blinking patterns to choose from. Since I like fireflies, I was glad it had a soft glowing option. The overall material and construction quality is fairly nice. The globes are clear but they are fairly hard and appear to be reasonably durable; the base screws on securely; the LED wires are soft but sturdy enough; and the hard plastic solar panel unit feels solid and its controls (on the back) were responsive.Some of the product descriptions (regarding “Christmas ball light has end-to-end connections”, “distance between the spheres is 3.28ft”, and “hold the button…until the green light on”) might be for a different product. Each set of wires is attached to the screw-on base, which is connected to the solar panel unit. There does not appear to be a way to connect the globes together, and as far as I could tell, there was no green light.Sometimes taking the time to assemble a project can be relaxing, but assembling this product was more frustrating than therapeutic. At first, I had difficulty aligning the two hemispheres and getting them to stay attached. Then, I had difficulty keeping the LED wire from becoming tangled and getting it to look how I want it to look inside the globe. In the end (assuming you haven’t given up), it is all about technique. I found that if I gently spanked the hemispheres when they were aligned, the two sides easily attached. I also found that while unraveling the wire, if I straighten it out, the wire becomes more manageable.If you can get over the potentially frustrating assembly process, you are rewarded with a set of well-made and beautiful solar garden decorations.
