I don't really have any way to verify the accuracy of this meter, but it was definitely able to tell my soil was wet and an area was dark. It said my soil's ph was neutral and that's where I'm uncertain. I had added acidifier a week or two prior, so I was expecting my soil to be a bit more acidic. Unfortunately, I don't know what the starting pH was or whether the acidifier was working yet. So jury's out on the pH accuracy.
