FIREMAPLE Petrel Ultralight Pot 600mlの溝にぴったりハマります。ヒートエクスチェンジャーが風防状態になってるせいか、風に弱いとかは感じたことがありません。取り外しの際のガス漏れはほぼありません。

I always buy Snowpeak products, but this one almost got me set on fire!!!! The valve is defeated and it was my first use the whole stove leaked and the gas exploded, I almost lost my face and hair.... and when I asked for a replacement Amazon tells me to return it first!!! Return what??? I threw the whole thing over the mountain as I was about to be burned alive!!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I lost almost 260 dirhams in trash.

Great product that fits easily in a mess kit. The isobutane canisters get a little tippy when you've got a loaded pot sitting on top of the stove, so it's worth the money to get a stabilizer kit like the MSR universal fuel canister stand.

Great stove but should be more wind resistant and the price needs to be lower.

This product works great except that it takes too long to heat things up because of the loss of gas and heat. Needs a shield and other things to be efficient. Because of the lack of efficiency, it uses up a lot of fuel.

This is my 3rd stove. I have Coleman and a mallome for comparison. I wanted this from the jump but there a lot of others that are cheaper and I couldn't justify the cost difference. So I watched on Amazon a really long time , the price dropped for 1 night to 45 bucks so I got one. It really is all that and a bag of chips. I wish I'd bought the litemax vs what a spent on 2 cheaper stoves. This stove seems to be better quality and better design. Other stove burners have 2 choices in flame distribution. Either all in the top in a small area or a bigger circle. This stove has both, flames from the top and out the side holes. So if you just want to heat a cup for coffee or larger pan this stove covers both. The 3 arms that move around to form the triangle shape pot resting surface have stayed snug and not loose and floppy after a few uses as I figured they would. I think the quality is better because each arm has 2 points of connection, 1 at the top and bottom where cheaper versions only connect at the bottom making them flimsy under a pot of food or water. This is another case of you get what you pay for. This is a great stove, yeah it cost more but there's usually a good reason for that.

Sold without a fuel cartridge and it is impossible to find this special fuel cartridge in Canada, and Amazon, they say you need, but work well with another brand.

Had that tiny, super-light, Chinese-made titanium stove, beforethis one and the top of it popped off for some reason. Got itback on but was afraid to use it afterwards. Not sure if it wassafe anymore and ordered the Snow Peak Titanium Stove, whichfrom the photo looked somewhat more substantial. It has a sturdy, wide, expandable base, big enough for a largepot to sit comfortably balanced on. Wasn't sure how much weightit could hold, but it easily held a fairly large, (1400 ml) pot, nearlyfilled to capacity with fish and liquid.Folds up into a nice, small size that's easy to stash in a cup orsmall pot, along with a gas canister. Lastly, the regulator holdsa steady, even, low flame making it easy to simmer on.No complaints. A good, lightweight, reliable, solid piece of gear.

I purchased the Snow Peak LiteMax because I wanted my lightweight backpacking cook system (pictured) to fit in a single Toaks 750 ml pot, which my old MSR Pocket Rocket didn't allow me to do as it didn't fit in my pot. This left me with a few options. I narrowed it down to the super light BRS 3000 stove (that ultralight backpackers rave about), an MSR Pocket Rocket 2, or this Snow Peak LiteMax. Ended up going with the LiteMax and I'm glad I did.The advertised weight is accurate. Build quality appears to be quite nice. I love how the fuel knob folds up nicely underneath the stove when not in use. The stove isn't as noisy as my Pocket Rocket, which is pretty sweet but it definitely does make noise especially on the highest setting. The pot stand is very accommodating to different sized pots and I imagine it's very stable due to how relatively flat they are. My only issue with the pot stand is the little feet that come out of the main part of the pot stand are a little hard to close. Maybe these will loosen up with more use. Overall, I'm really excited to use this stove during the upcoming season and hopefully for many seasons to come

Really pleased with this, beautifully manufactured. Perhaps, like me, you have noticed that both here and on the Snow Peak website there are photos of two slightly differing burners for the same model 120R. I have purchased the Snow Peak "LiteMax Renewed" stove and the stove I received is the one with the 'vertical rectangular flame apertures' as in the photo attached. Hope this helps you.

This is a review mainly focused on comparing it with the MSR Microrocket (its major competitor), so if you're looking for a condensed version, just skip to the end.The Litemax has a weight of 56g and fits a standard isobutane fuel canister. It's quick burning and boils water quickly. It has a less conical burn shape than other stoves (see pictures).Okay, let's talk about the comparison between this stove and the MSR Microrocket--its major competitor.Snow Peak's Litemax weighs in at 56g vs a 74g Microrocket (MSR claims a weight of 73g... no big deal there)Burn shape: Litemax has a broader flame vs the Microrocket. MSR's Microrocket has a very sharp cone. Over time this can be bad for your cookwear.I took a side-by-side picture of both stoves on top of a 4oz MSR fuel can so you can see the size comparisons for each of them.I ran a boil test on both of these stoves. I used a 550ml TOAKS Titanium pot and boiled 8 oz of water uncovered. I waited several hours between them so the pot had adequate time to cool down, and I used 8 oz of tap water for each boil. I took pictures of the flame on the pot during both tests (see below). I brought both to a rolling boil and timed it.Snow Peak Litemax: 3:29.12MSR Microrocket: 3:57.09I may run more tests when I have time so I can get a long run average, but realistically there's a really large discrepancy between the two. I think it's due to the increased surface area that the flame reaches with the Litemax over the Microrocket.I definitely know which one I'll be using from now on, though. Snow Peak has come out with a really fantastic product that has slid so far below the radar that it's incredible. MSR might have a huge cornerstone on the market, but this the Litemax now receives my absolute recommendation from here on out.
