This appears to be a reasonably well-build, reasonably heavy-duty machine. It comes with a lot of parts (dies) for setting various kinds of eyelets, rivets, snaps, and (allegedly) grommets. It may well be a very useful and versatile device.But I can't tell, because is came with ZERO instructions. There was a parts list, sort of, but not even the simplest instructions for set-up or use were included. Since I'm a relative novice at this, I don't really know how to tell a snap-die from a grommet-die, or which end of the grommet goes in which part of the die. There are things on the press which can apparently be adjusted, but it is not at all obvious HOW you should adjust them, or WHY you would want to.In multiple trial-and-error attempts, I could not get it to set the particular size grommets I am using (3/16", 2-part), and have concluded that for all the "stuff" that came with this tool, the one size die set that I really needed is not to be found among it.An instruction manual would VASTLY improve the value of this tool.As it is, I'm sending mine back. Oh well . . .

I almost sent this press back. The rivet dies that came with it were not for double cap rivets. That was what I needed it for. The price is what made me keep it so I ordered a set of different sizes of dies. Now that I've used it I am happy with my purchase. It's not as big as I was expecting but it gets the job done.

I am new to placing snaps, rivets and grommets to garments or craft items. I am not an expert on handling this type of tools. I started with a hand held snap tool to do baby onesies and attach plastic snaps. I received this tool as a gift. Was not expecting it so soon. Anyway, I received and there was no instructions on the box, or any identification of tools. I thought "ok, what now" as I was confused and overwhelmed. Well, there is a website on the 1 page manual that came in the box. In that website, are videos of each tool and what it does. It is in another language, but, I did not need to understand what was said, as the visual part was there on the video. I was able to print out the description list and a picture of all the dies and was able to identify all the pieces of tools. Yay!!!!! I did it!!! I also organized each sets in individual small plastic containers and wrote down what they are. I think I did a good job organizing the. So, with all said, There can't be a bad review on this tool. It's just a matter of doing your homework, google searching by copying and pasting the list and writing notes. Easy peasy.

This is a wonderful seller, and I love this bundled product! You can set snaps, rivets, and some specialty pieces. They even have a video to watch online to see how to use it! Some reviewers must not have seen the packaging that had the website on it. Wonderful product! And the seller is very responsive to messages and questions, so I highly recommend.

This machine comes with tons of parts and no explanation or instructions on how to use any of it. I’m reviewing YouTube videos for presses just to figure out what the pieces are for. Unfortunately, a lot of the videos are for different brands of presses so the parts aren’t exactly the same. Apparently, there is no manual written for this type exact press at all. I wish I would have bought a different brand. I almost never do returns, but I’m considering it as this is just taking up my time trying to figure this out and I’m afraid I’ll damage something if I insert a die incorrectly.
