I used this kit to replace a missing snap on my 20+ year old leather wallet. The cap and socket came apart years ago and i just never got around to getting a kit or having it fixed.The tool it self seems well made and sturdy and I had no issues with alignment.It took me a bit to figure out what exactly i needed to do as the stud that came with the wallet was still securely attached to the leather with no way to remove it. I was a little worried the new socket may not fit. But it does!I actually had to watch the video to figure out what parts i required to make this work. Once i did that i put the pieces together and fastened the cap and socket to the wallet.It fits perfectly even with the thick leather.Functions just as the original.It is secure and after many snaps and unsnaps it is still in place.The new cap is a bit smaller but still looks fine for me.All in all I am super happy and the tool was fairly easy to use.

This came with some snaps which made it so easy to practice using. I will say I have some arthritis in my hands, and sometimes the handheld tools like this are hard for me to use. But this one has a nice grip, and makes it easy to hold, and press. I was able to do so comfortably, with no issues! Highly recommend!

This was my first snap set because I wanted ro fix my sons jacket. Saw this on vine and thought I give it a try.The toold is pretty good, heavy duty. Good rubber. They also put a good gob of crease on moving parts...It comes in a box, which is a little disappointing as other brands have pouches or fitted tool bags for these things. The instructions are just one card and is somewhat confusing as I was teting to figure out which part is the snap and which part it snaps into. Some of the items also look very similar foe the first time user so I had to study the pictures for a while. It comes either 4 bags of snaps. 2 silver and two bronze (front and back button each). By the time i figured out how to work this thing and make my first snap, i realized that these are different from what is actually attached to the jacked. Who knew...so if that's what you're drying to so, make sure you replace them all, or find the one you need for your project. These seem to be round and flat magnetic versions, so probably not a good option for heavy duty projects. I'll probably use them for something flown the road, but I'll habe to reconsider how to fix the jacket first. If thisnis what you need I think it's an OK value for your money but there are so many options out there, make sure you get the type of snap you want/need and also figure out if you want it in a portable case or not.

I used this kit to make a snap on rag top for a hot rod project. The tool and snaps take a little getting used to, especially if putting through thicker material. I wish they included many more snap components, as the first few didn't turn out and I had to drill them out. The aren't many to both learn with and create your craft, so consider if you can find additional replacements. The tool itself was adequate. Not as nice as the more expensive snap tools, but should be plenty usable for most crafts and hobbies. I'd say the ease of use could be a little better, paired with a larger quantity of snap parts.

This snap fashioner appears to be a solid and well-made tool, and I'm eager to finally ditch the frustrating hammer method. I unpacked immediately, and the build quality feels robust. I expect it to be a durable addition to my toolbox for the occasional projects I have in mind. As someone with decades of experience using hand tools, I appreciate the apparent durability designed into this one, and I anticipate it will handle its intended tasks without any problems.The kit is quite comprehensive, though mine was missing one of the stainless-steel-looking snaps. However, considering this is presented as a starter kit, it's a minor inconvenience, and I plan to order more snaps soon to take advantage of the variety of applications this tool will allow. I'm looking forward to tackling those long-overdue repairs on boat covers, tarps, clothing, and outdoor gear – this tool promises to be a money-saver, but mostly I wanted the added convenience. It's good to think I won't have to discard quality items due to carelessly ripped snaps anymore. Plus, setup is simple – just load the snaps and go.For the price, the value seems solid, especially given the potential for repairs and the ease of use. While a dedicated storage case would have been a nice addition, I generally prefer my own toolbox organization anyway, as Im not a fan of molded plastic cases for most tools, nor would I expect one at this low cost.Overall, I'm very happy with this product and genuinely eager to put it to good use; I have high hopes for it.Take care.

Sturdy and well made! Easy to change the attachments and easy to clamp the snaps onto my project. The hole puncher works without flaw!
