Purchased to use as a portfolio binder, but quality was not what I was looking for so its been demoted to junk binder. Arrived bent and scuffed up, but otherwise functional if you don't care about look/feel.

Bought 3- 2 were heavily damaged. Worst packaging job ever. Mechanisms broken. Bent all over, completely unusable.

Some assembly required, was easy enough to figure out quickly though. Constructed of thin card stock, vinal coating and tin trim. The mechanism functions well enough, not very sturdy but should work for light use.I will admit I had somewhat hight expectations, and feel a little let down by the cheap construction. I will count as a positive that the mechanism could be removed and mounted to a different cover or even a clipboard.Arrived in bubble wrap, and the covers were bent and beat up from shipping. Product ships from China.
