I've been wanting a muslin duvet cover for my son's bed for awhile! I was so hopeful with this cover set, but I think I have too high of expectations. I ordered the beige color and it's pretty much see-through. I don't love how light it is compared to my duvet insert, which is a light blue. I would order a darker color to test it out, but almost $60 for a simple duvet cover seems too high to me to want try another color. The two pillow shams are nice to have for a twin bed so I can switch them out when needed.

I love this duvet cover and sham set. It is super soft and has a natural, organic look and feel to it. I'm using it on top of my comforter as I never have any luck getting a comforter to remain in place inside a duvet, even with the ties. I haven't washed it yet but the tag does indicate it can go in the dryer. I probably will dry it lightly on delicate and then spread it out over the bed while still damp. It's 100% cotton so I'm expecting it to shrink.The khaki color is more of a light coffee color-not ivory as depicted in the item photos. It's lightweight and would be a breathable cover for summer nights that are a little cooler (if we get any).

This duvet set has a nice light khaki color and is soft. It does have a texture to it, so it is not smooth but it is soft. The zipper works well and there are ties at the corners for a comforter. I live in Florida so it is something I would use in the winter, a little too much for summer time here. Unfortunately when ordering this I didn’t pay attention and ordered a Queen. While I do have a queen bed, I use king sized pillows and a king size comforter. So I have put this on the guest bed. I think this would also work if you double the duvet as I have seen in some hotels where the comforter is between two duvets instead of inside the duvet.
