We bought this mattress (5 in) for our camper to have a comfy bit light sleeping surface. We are both tall people that move quite a lot at night and i am a light sleeper. This mattress is great for daybed or guest bed or if you are a light person - maybe not enough pressure relieving for every night sleeping (I am about 150lbs). I do sometimes sleep better on this mattress than on our 10in one at home - good for your back, firm feel.

Never expanded to the size it was supposed to. It's about 2 and a half inches thick. Supposed to be 5 inches

I have no complaints about this. I would say it works best for a childs bed or a bed topper for adults. I bought this for my 3 year olds new full bed and it is perfect for her. I have fallen asleep a handful of times and was comfy.

I don’t normally write reviews. It’s not a bad mattress but it’s definitly not memory foam and the product info mostly skirts around this. But they lead you to believe it’s memory foam. The mattress material is the “egg crate” foam that people used to throw on top for of their mattresses back in the 80s and 90s, the kind with the ripples (see photo). There is no “memory” to this foam. It just springs right back immediately.Again, it’s a fine foam mattress but not memory foam.

This mattress did not expand to a full 5", but it was close enough. I use this on a futon and it works quite well, as it was thin enough to bend in the middle. It was also comfy enough to sleep on. At 180lbs, I felt the slats beneath me, but the quality of sleep for a futon was acceptable. Would definitely be acceptable for a "youth" as the product suggests.

This mattress is more comfortable than expected and looks well made. No unpleasant smell from off-gassing, which was a pleasant surprise. Why the 4-star rating? Because this mattress is absolutely NOT 5" thick!Within 20-30 minutes of unwrapping it from the compression packaging, it had reached a depth of 4". The directions say to allow 48 hours for it to fully expand but at 72+ hours (and counting) it is still exactly 4". I don't know whether an additional 1-inch of foam would really impact the comfort level but the point is that it shouldn't be advertised as 5". With guests arriving soon, time has run out to get another mattress here in time so I will have to make do. If my guests sleep comfortably then I will leave well enough alone; otherwise, I may return it.

I bought this for an ikea day bed and it works amazing! I regret not buying two since now I can’t get it through prime. I use it in my guest/office room. these past 2 weeks it’s gotten warmer in New England so I open the windows in that room and while I read or relax, I can’t help but fall asleep. It’s almost impossible not to. The mattress is just a nice amount of firm. My husband has come in to sit on the edge of it at the end of our long day and found ourselves napping on this TWIN mattress despite having our queen size to nap in. And sometimes our 70 lb. dog slides in too, I’m not sure how we fit, but also the day bed has no edges so maybe it’s the fact we can hang pf of it. It’s just become a staple in my home. My mother’s come to visit and needed to lay down for a bit while visiting and found herself snoozing away as well. Highly recommend this mattress. I always set my expectations low so this definitely impressed for the price.

Mattress is thin and smaller than standard full frame. Looks odd when you put comforter on.
