These riding pants are high quality and fit our niece well. They've held up all riding season so far and show no evidence of tearing or wear. They breathe well and work great. Highly recommend!

I'm 5' so I actually ordered these for me. I was worried that the 11-12 year old size was going to be too small, but they actually fit great! These are quite high waisted (which I greatly prefer) even though my legs are very long for being a short woman. I think if you have shorter legs you might not like where these hit you, but they seem like they'd be great for anyone with longer legs. I was surprised there was actually plenty of room in the waist and hip areas as girls clothes tend to be pretty straight all the way down, these are also plenty stretchy so it shouldn't be much of an issue if you order a bit too small.The lining is light enough that these don't have to be solely kept around for winter use: I think the only season these would be too much for is summer. I was expecting them to be much hotter when I read they were fleece lined. Overall, I think these are a great purchase and completely worth the price!

Fleece tights are a game changer for my 6 year old in the winter. She stays much warmer when outside with fleece lined pants or tights than with regular pants. These tights looked like they would work well for yoga, playing outside, climbing, riding a bike, and sports. My daughter doesnât ride but for the stretch, comfort, and fleece decided to have my daughter give them a try. The quality appears to be top notch. The pants are stretchy and comfortable. I bought the tights in a 7-8 jet black color for my 6.5 year old because she can grow into them. If I bought the 5/6 I feel like she would outgrow them by the end of the year. The waist is a little big on her, which I figured it would be. the length appears to be fine and fit seems good around her legs, not too tight. The jet black color is a nice shade. She says they are super soft and comfortable. Also on the right side there is a small pocket for a phone or small wallet. Overall I would recommend these Aubrion Girls Porter Winter Riding Tights.

The Shires Aubrion Porter Winter Fleece Riding Tight equestrian pants worked out GREAT for our recent horseback riding excursion at Horseshoe Bend in AZ this past week. My 11yo daughter is 58â tall and 68lbs, and the size 11-12 fit her well. The length was just right, with maybe a little room to grow, and the waist held up without having to be adjusted, though for her petite size thereâs always extra room in the waistband. She mentioned at first that the pants were so tight around the calves and that the ankle cuff and silicone leg grips were strange, but she soon got used to it and liked the idea of having riding pants for our equestrian tour. The fleece lining helped keep her warm. I think these pants could easily be added to her regular wardrobe and donât have to be reserved solely for horseback riding, which we donât do a lot of. We both appreciate the thigh pocket to hold her lip balm or whatever trinket sheâs treasuring that day. This is a great pair of quality pants with a good fit and nice details.

The no-slip rubber-like applique within the inner thigh of the pants will help keep children more secure when horse riding or other activities requiring straddling. It's also fairly unnoticeable by sight alone, and the pants have a sophistication that shows quality. They are heavy and softly lined with stretchy fabric, making them comfortable. These are ideal for colder months due to the fleece lining and durability of the fabric. It would be nice to order these in several neutral colors if one is an avid horse rider.
