This bookbag/backpack is relatively large and has plenty of room to carry my laptop, lunchbag, folded-up raincoat and more. The back is padded and there is an interior sleeve to protect a laptop. It appears to be well-made and I expect it will last a long time. I like the looks of the light-tan faux-leather bottom, but I think I would prefer it to just be black canvas like the rest of the bag as it could start to show dirt over time.

This is a beautifully designed backpack. I LOVE the collegiate look of the black-on-suede contrasting colors. I would use this as my work backpack in a second, except that the laptop sleeve isn't cushioned, so I'm worried about what might happen if I drop this with my laptop inside. Everything else is great, but it doesn't feel protective enough for electronics.

This is a lightweight and basic backpack. The description says it can fit a 15.6 inch laptop. True, but it doesn't have padding to protect it- so I would never put a laptop in this bag. This is more for clothes or the like. I don't see it holding up to having heavy books or anything like that, it's not reinforced at all. Personally, I'm using it as a gym bag and I prefer carrying a hands free backpack to the duffel type gym bag I was using.

Compared to the cartoon-character-one-pocket bags for a similar price ($20.99 at time of purchase), this bag feels really well made. Zippers run smoothly. It's not as heavy duty as a Jansport, but it feels like it'll take a fair amount beating. The color is more of a "wine" red, than a maroon, which I tend to think of as less rich. It's nice and deep but without a brown undertone that I associate with maroon. I am confident it'll last a full middle school year.

The back pack is a medium size. Good for older school age kids and adults. The pictures I took make it look more red than it really is. It's a dark burgundy color. When I use it for 6 months, I'll update my review. But for now, I have no issues at all.

I ordered this backpack with the belief that it was red - actually red. But, in fact, it's actually a shade of maroon; it's not red at all. However, that doesn't mean that this backpack isn't functional, because it is. It fits my 15.6in laptop, has multiple pockets, and is comfortable for long use. I live in Chicago where a backpack is a must. This backpack checked off everything that I needed. The stitching seems to hold well. I would recommend this product, but just know it's maroon, not red.

This backpack is a decent option for the size and price. I bought it for my son to use during lightweight travel, and it serves that purpose well. Just a note—if you're planning to carry a laptop, I’d recommend adding a padded insert for extra protection, as the bag doesn’t come with built-in cushioning. Overall, a good for casual use!
