Realistically I would give this sprocket a 3.5 ⭐️ rating but keep in mind this is being reviewed for use on a Beta.THE GOOD: Out of the box look and feel is great. It’s ultralight, it’s perfectly flat, the finish is flawless, the CNC machining is excellent, and the model # and logo are crisp and legible (some OEM manufacturers might want to take note of this). The color is consistent with other red anodized products for the Beta lineup. Fitment around the hub centering ring is snug and precise. So far so good.THE BAD: when you align the sprocket bolt holes with the hub you quickly notice that while the lateral alignment appears accurate the holes are drilled slightly outside the spacing of the hub. I verified this on the OEM and aftermarket hubs each with OEM and aftermarket bolts. When you drop the sprocket bolts in they are all noticeably missing any play (there should be a little bit here to allow the tapered head and sprocket holes to line everything up) but do go through apparently straight. Once they are all in the tapered heads sit ever so slightly off of the taper of the sprocket. With a little loc-tite applied they squish nicely and settle in reasonably well, but not perfect the way the OEM, Primary Drive, ” or Dirt Trix sprockets do.DISCLAIMER: I like things to be perfect or as close to it as possible. Especially in the drivetrain. This is entirely possible with sprockets. As such this Scar Racing product isn’t my favorite. It is pretty good, enough so that I’m definitely going to run it while I try out different final gearing ratios. It should be noted that Amazon and the SCAR website state that this product number fits both Honda and Beta motos. In general sprockets with this designation are flat out terrible when you try to mount them on Betas. The bolt pattern is NOT the same on Honda and Beta hubs. It just isn’t. If you don’t believe me, get your calipers out and measure up with your ride red buddies 😜. Lots of guys will just crank the sprocket bolts down and let it rip and if that’s your style wear it proudly. This one fits better than any other sprocket I have tried that claims to fit both Honda and Beta.BOTTOM LINE: I’m not going to return it but I won’t buy it again. For the money there are equally well built sprockets that fit the Beta hub better.
