I haven't used this yet, it looks beautiful. I bought it to store in my truck, incase I need it. I had one made out of steel tube but can't find it. I pulled my neighbor out of her ditch a few weeks ago and it would have worked better that what I used (a cable bridal with hooks). (You use what you have at the time). I like to be prepared as best I can. Here in Texas where I live in the county, we have lots of ditches, no curbs or sidewalks, my zero turn has been pulled out of my ditch several times in 3 years and so have my neighbors.

This quality machined aluminum receiver clevis gives me a loop to run a tie-down strap through, and also a recovery point to hook to if I happen to get my Honda Pioneer 1000-6 stuck in a mud hole. I'd buy it again.

The receiver tow hitch was really finished great, and it came in a fitted box like a piece of jewelry. It came with the pin and the retaining (hairpin)clip and a shackle.

I looked at a few different options. I ultimately settled on this one as I liked the lighter weight aluminum and the ability to use a soft shackle or hard shackle. It was well packaged and everything is finished to a nice level.

I am a Sr. Mechanical Engineering Technician and a machinist. This thing is clean, very nicely built for this price. I ended up cutting .250" off the backside so I could slide it all the way in and get the pin holes concentric. Highly recommended!

Great packaging, very good quality appearance and feel of the main unit. Not so sure about the shackle but to be fair it worked perfectly to recovery me backwards out of mud.
