This Retrospec Inflatable Snow Tube is super durable. It is very heavy duty and will last for a multiple years no doubt. It is a 40in diameter snow tube. The product description mentions both 60in and 40in but it is 40in. It is also huge - it has 2 inner tubes and stays a pretty large size to store. We just store in the huge box it arrived it. I wish it did pack down smaller for storage but its a trade-off for the high quality, durability. I used an air compressor to inflate it and it worked great, a bike pump would be tedious. That being said - it is a well constructed, quality product. Plus It is a really fun, really fast snow tube!

This is the first time I've had a snow tube that is so big it shows up in a box the size of a flat screen TV. That's because the bottom is reinforced, so they can't fold it up into a condensed little box to send it out. This is the type of snow tube you'll have for years, not a one season one. We live in the upper Midwest so there's never a shortage of snow here. We have several feet of snow on the ground already and have been out with the snow tubes on the weekends. This one works super well and is heavy duty. It holds air very well and the material is thick enough that you don't worry about it ripping or getting a hole in it. Awesome snow tube for everyone, not just for kids!

Moves very quickly, even on heavier, soggy snow. Easy to maneuver, inflate as well as maintain. Just spray off with hose and towel dry to prevent mildew etc. Rugged rubber thickness. A highly visible color. The pull strap is also very tough. We hooked it up to the pony harness gear and absolutely no problem with frayed or torn strap. Has comfortable grab handles. Slides really fast! Has an abundant weight limit. Very durable, secure valve. Very much appreciate the worth of this tube.

This is a pretty good snow tube. The bottom is pretty hard and sturdy. The outer tube is strong and solid. This being said I have been having air pressure issues with the smaller tube on the inside (seat). It keeps losing air somehow. It should also be noted that the tube diameter is 40" but it becomes 60" with the pull handle attached.I sincerely hope that you would find my review helpful.

This heavy duty snow tube is much better than what I was hoping for and I am super impressed with it! The bottom layer is a very, very thick rubber that, in my opinion, can't be easily punctured. It is one solid piece that does not fold up. I really can't see a rock, stone or a branch puncturing this tube.On the inside you have another tube, which is a heavy duty black tube. You have double and triple stitching throughout the tube, and the nylon siding is tear proof, rip proof, and seems to be somewhat puncture proof. The handles are reinforced and padded, and the pulling strap will not pull away from the tube because of the way that it is attached.Whether you use this in the snow or the water, you will be very satisfied because it is a very strong build! My only complaint about this snow tube would be that the bottom does not fold up. The tube itself only deflates. Other than that I can't wait to take it out on the slopes in the winter, and take it down a river in the summer! I highly recommend it.

This thing is hard core. Real rubber innertube is at the heart of this, not some thin plastic. As others have pointed out, it's 40", not 60". Still, it has a hard plastic bottom that will make this fast and durable. Some points to know: you'll need a compressor or car tire inflator to inflate (if you don't have one you can go to a gas station). A bike pump won't do. It comes with a valve tool, extra valve, and extra cap. On ours, the valves weren't screwed in (probably intentionally for shipping) and you'll have to screw them in. There are two innertubes, the main innertube and a small innertube for the base.I'm giving it 4 out of 5 because it's 40", not 60", and there aren't any instructions around inflating and the two innertubes. That said, this is heavy duty and I expect it will last many winter seasons.

We don't get a lot of snow where we live, but when we do, our snow-packed driveway on a long downward slope makes for awesome sledding! This 40" tube is well engineered with a very durable, slick, hard plastic bottom, a quality and colorful nylon mesh upper, and a "donut hole" nylon wrapped insert to smooth out the ride. There are two real deal road worthy rubber inner tubes that get inserted into the sled. One large diameter outer tube and a smaller insert tube. Everything about this tube is top quality and I expect will hold up for many seasons of fun either down the hill or pulled behind a snow mobile or four wheeler (which would require an additional tow rope). I'm even going to try it as a pull toy behind the boat this summer! Best bang for the buck if your shopping for a snow tube. The snow tube design does not "size down" so be sure to save the box that the tube comes shipped in to store your tube when not in use.
