I am a former enduro Mx rider, and am very familiar with Renthals excellent quality. That and the great reviews led me to purchase this stem. Additionally I was lookin for increase my reach very slightly, so I went for the 60mm, 10mm longer than my existing stem. The fit, finish, and build quality is amazing, the design is perfect in both form and function. I have 780mm 31.8 carbon bars and they now feel much more solid. In fact the front end of the bike is more solid and confidence building. No creaks, no flex from the stem, and the clamp design is by far the best in mtb’ing. I feel like I’m in the bike now, not perched on top, and that the front end is stiffer and more capable than with the stock stem. Bike is a 2020 Giant stance 1.

This spooked me out at first but I got it. I purchased this stem along with renthals carbon bars. The way the bars attach to the stem is what bugged me. You have to install the clamps on the bars before you can bolt it to the stem.. that’s fine, what bugged me was seeing marks on my new bars from trying to install the clamps since it was a super tight fit. Screeching aluminum on carbon bars and seeing marks is not something I’m fond of. I had to painstakingly teeter totter the clamp on while gritting my teeth of “why is this so tight!?!?”

Install is easy. Adjustment is simple. It holds the bars without slipping... it's a stem.

Beautiful piece of art and a functional part for my bike. The machining is great quality and looks good too! Love this stem. Easy to install and it looks great on my Specialized Camber. I really like the ride better than the stock 70mm stem
