Our cat calming spray uses pheromones that mimic those naturally produced by cats, creating a sense of safety and relaxation. This helps create a calming enviornment by telling your cat, “we like this object, let’s leave it alone.” The cat calming spray is ideal for spot treatment, handling environmental changes, and calming cats in travel carriers. Cats can be sensitive to changes in their environment or routine, which may lead to stress-related behaviors like scratching furniture or marking outside the litter box.

Seems to work but not sure how effective it is. My cat does seem more calm but continues to scratch furniture. He seems to react to the smell but not enough to be effective.

This works amazing! I sprayed once a day, as instructed, on my couch. I did this for a week, and in just day one I’ve already noticed my cats staying away. I’ll admit 1/10 my cats still dare to go on my couch but that’s when the spray has already worn off. So here and there I still have to spray (no biggy) but I definitely recommend this product for you cat owners who not only love your cats, but also love your furniture!

We adopted a senior cat with a mostly unknown background, and she came with a few weird habits. Most of her quirks are acceptable, but she was marking our couch and one of our upholstered chairs with urine, and that was NOT okay. Since using this spray, there hasn't been one incident. I doubted it was going to work but we were desperate. The first couple of times I used it, I think I got too close to the spray and inhaled some of it accidentally, and it bothered me for a few minutes (mostly, for some reason, in my throat). The smell goes away almost right away. Now when I spray it, I stand back a little. This stuff solved a very big problem for us. I love it when something actually works as advertised.

Helped a bit but my cat still occasionally scratch the area. The smell is not strong & that's a good thing

Finally, I found an excellent magical remedy to protect our soft furniture against the destructive nails of our cat. It worked virtually instantly; our cat got the message andnever touches our furnishings ever again since. Unfortunately, when I purchased the cheaper option, namely the 2-bottle set, customs returned it as it was prohibited in the EU. According to Amazon, it isn't banned as such; customs refused it due to fluid leakage from the parcel (one bottle seemed to be either broken or not sufficiently closed). Meanwhile, I ordered one bottle again, which I received without problems. As I missed out on the discount, Amazon offered to repay the shipping costs to me (as I had to order twice one bottle instead of once 2 the discounted set of 2 bottles). The initial explanation from Amazon saying that this item isn't prohibited from import to the EU doesn't seem very likely (unless the bottles are unfit for their purpose, and consequently, the bottle from this order was broken too). It would be appreciated if Amazon would offer reliable information to their customers about the legal status of the items they sell to customers abroad (at least to EU customers)

We purchased in hopes that it would help our cats relax and decrease unwanted scratching of furniture, but we tried to use the product once and wish we never had.It claims to be unscented and odorless, but it did have a strong chemical odor. It caused me to have an asthma attack and I rarely have them. Even my fiancé, who does not have asthma, began experiencing respiratory irritation. We had to hide out in our bedroom until the smell dissipated. We have even used Feliway’s calming pheromone plug-ins for our cats before and never had an experience like this. The fact that it cause significant respiratory irritation is concerning. I certainly do not feel comfortable using it around my cats. Unfortunately, I missed our return period, but the packaging does state “100% Satisfaction Guarantee.” I will contact the company to see if they stand behind their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.Don’t buy It and save your time, money, and your lungs! It isn’t worth it. Go get the Feliway plug-ins. They seem to help calm our cats. They cost more, but last about a month or so which is much longer then Comfort Zone. Also, make sure to provide your cat(s) with enough enrichment, climbing/hiding areas, and scratching pads/posts. A lot of “bad” behaviors are a need not being met or stress. Best of luck!

Let me start off by saying our cat was peeing on our bed nearly every night for six months. After countless times to the vet to make sure he didn’t have a bladder infection we tried various different methods and ultimately ended up having to tarp our bed every morning before leaving. Even still, sometimes he would pee on the bed while we were sleeping. He started peeing on the bed when we got a new kitten but noticed he did it more frequently when we were gone for a long period of time (even though we had a cat sitter). Keep in mind, we built our spoiled boy a catio that he has 24/7 access to with its own litter box, we also have an additional litter box in our room with multiple litter boxes in our garage as well which he always has access to, we changed the litter several times (even once to an expensive cat attract litter) thinking maybe one would make him prefer the litter box instead of our bed (but he also never avoided the litter box, he would just use our bed when he felt like it while also using the litter box), we tried keeping our door closed and letting him in and out but keeping the kitten out of our room, nothing helped as far as altering the atmosphere of the home.We tried the comfort zone diffusers which didn’t help and had a strong burning plastic odor which bothered us a lot. So then we got him a comfort zone collar which didn’t seem to help much. Finally the vet recommended this spray and he had maybe two accidents the first week (which was a HUGE improvement to begin with) but now, it has been about two weeks without one single accident and we even went on a short trip! This has been a literal godsend for us. I’m not sure if the collar helps at all but I will definitely be using the collar in conjunction with the spray for a long time to avoid the risk of him starting up again just in case the collar is helping in some way. Now we just make the bed, spray a couple times, and go about our day. OH, and the odor is little to NONE. Also a huge benefit.I highly recommend although I know every cat is different and responds to different things (diffusers, etc). We would never have gotten rid of our sweet boy but it was very tasking having to change and wash the sheets every single night and it was really stressing us out.

I was so excited this came today, the sixth day after ordering. Pretty fast for getting to our remote little town. (The seller was amazon itself btw)We are driving 2.5h to the vet tomorrow, with four cats who hate drives, and I only noticed at the last minute that we were nearly out of Feliway! I'm so happy we got it in time! It isn't magic, but calms them significantly which is way better than not using it.I just don't quite understand the categories of cat pheromones... is it all the same? I feel like there are at least 2 pheromones involved from the way they market the stuff. This type says it's anti-scratch but it actually works better for us than the plug-in version that comes in Classic and Multicat, for the purpose of peacekeeping. Plus, with this one, I am spared the paraffin fumes (oh my eyes and sinuses!) and fire risk of using a plug in. Plus, afterwards you have a sturdy little spray bottle. I'm definitely in love with this product!Does it work for its stated purpose, reducing scratching? Yes. I have one very nice antique persian rug, and a couple less precious ones, and a cheap, plain one. I encourage scratching on the cheap rug, and placed it at the main intersection of the home, where a cat naturally wants to place their mark. I mist this product on the nicer three rugs, very sparingly, once a week. We also have scratchers of all types everywhere. Between the designated scratching rug and the sisal posts etc, the cats are happy to stay clear of the persian rug. Now, would the spray work as well if the nice rug were the only surface in the house suitable for scratching, and was in a location that encourages scratching? I'm not sure. Why would you put a cat in such a tough situation anyway? Scratching is essential for a strong back and general good health. Please provide scratching opportunities. But yes, if you give them other options, and use this on your nice couch or rug or whatever, they WILL leave it be. And I know the spray is a crucial part of the plan because sometimes I forget for a couple weeks and then they do scratch the nice rug.I find if I get carried away with how much I use it actually seems to agitate them. Like in 1200 sq ft, I do maybe six squirts. So it lasts quite awhile. And this is a very competitive price. Worth every penny!

Almost a week of using this now, and my cat seems to get the idea I need him to stop scratching the carpet. He ignores where this has been sprayed, and occasionally scratches a little elsewhere(which I then spray) but has improved 95% since I started using this. Let's hope it stays this way!
