I've owned these Reef's for 2.5 weeks. 2.5 weeks! Absolute garbage product.Unfortunately my Olukai sandals needed to be retired after 4 years of regular usage. Those sandals were absolute tanks, very well made. I thought I would save a few bucks and give these Reef's a try since they are half the price. Boy was that a gross misjudgment.First, the right foot sandal toe area caught the lip of a very mild step up transition from my backyard patio to the inside of my house and scuffed the toe area beyond repair. I couldn't believe the damage given how mild the contact was.Then, the left foot sandal near where the straps are located just started detaching. Peeling apart like weak foam rubber. I didn't ever hit the shoe on anything for the left side so there is no excuse, just poor quality.

Some of the Best sandals I've had. They feel so nice and comfy and they stay on really well. I use them while I skateboard around town and just walk around the park. Really good pair of sandals.

Great shoe. However, if you have wide feet the velcro won't help you.

I love my reefs. They are not like my old reefs. They don’t have the band connecting the two vans though I don’t want anything between my toes. It’s uncomfortable. I wanna walk like Jesus did. I did walk like Jesus did my last pair of reefs I need to find them and bury them I was going to have them put in a casket with me. Though I cannot find them I bought them in 1998 and have used them up till March 2025 they were worn down to my heel. I wanted to get the same ones made again I do not know why reef discontinued making them. REEF WHY DID YOU STOP MAKING THE OPEN TOE SAMPLE THAT WAS IN BROWN ALL BLACK BOTTOM ADJUSTABLE FRONT STRAPS THOUGH THE TWO FRONT STRAPS WERE CONNECTED WITH ANOTHER PIECE OF SUEDE LEATHER THAT HAD A HOLE IN THE CENTER. THEY WERE AWESOME. I PUT OVER 20,000 MILES OF WALKING ON THEM. I WORE THROUGH THE BOTTOM OF THEM. I WAS DOWN TO MY HEELS. IT STARTED AFFECTING MY WALKING AND I WAS GETTING EXCRUCIATING LEG PAIN. I BOUGHT THEM IN 1998 AND IT IS MARCH 2025 WHEN I HAD TO RETIRE THEM VERY SADLY RETIRE THEM. I HAVE DEGENERATIVE THIS DISEASE AND I HONESTLY CANNOT WALK IN THEM ANYMORE. I GORILLA GLUED THEM BACK TOGETHER AT LEAST 12 TO 14 TIMES. I WOULD NOT GIVE UP ON THEM. THEY WERE THE BEST MOST COMFORTABLE SANDAL YOU MADE I DIDN’T NEED A BEER BOTTLE OPENER. I DON’T NEED ANY OF THAT FANCY CRAP I JUST NEED A BASIC SANDWICH WHICH I BOUGHT AGAIN. THEY ARE NOT AS COMFORTABLE AS MY LAST ONES THOUGH THEY ARE VERY NICE AND I BELIEVE IN 1998 I PAID WHICH I THOUGHT WAS EXPENSIVE $45.98.PLUS TAX IN FLORIDA FROM THE BEACHCOMBER ON INGLEWOOD BEACH FLORIDA. I WAS LIKE THAT’S A LOT OF MONEY FOR A PAIR OF SANDALS NOW IT WASN’T IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY I WORE THEM TO DISNEY WORLD AT LEAST SIX TIMES UNIVERSAL STUDIOS AT LEAST SIX TIMES HERSHEYPARK AT LEAST 12 TO 14 TIMES KNOBLE‘S AT LEAST 10 TIMES CEDAR CREEK ONCE OR TWO DAYS IN A ROW THEY’VE BEEN IN NIAGARA FALLS. THEY HAVE BEEN ALL OVER THE WORLD I NEED TO FIND THEM AND I’M GOING TO GIVE THEM A PROPER BURIAL. ARE THEY GOING TO GO ON MY CASKET WITH ME? A PAIR OF REEFS ARE GOING TO BE ON MY FEET WHEN I AM LAID TO REST. DO NOT CHEAT OUT STOP MAKING THEM IN CHINA MAKE THEM IN AMERICA. I WILL PAY $20 MORE START MAKING OUR PRODUCTS IN AMERICA BE PROUD PUT A STICKER ON HERE MADE IN AMERICA THE GREAT OLD USA NOT CHINA ENOUGH. I KNOW THESE WILL NOT LAST. BASICALLY I AM NOT GOING TO LAST AS LONG AS THEY WILL. I LOVE MY REEF SANDALS. I APOLOGIZE. I DON’T KNOW WHY I PUT IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. MAYBE IT KNOWS I’M VERY SERIOUS.Make them in THE USA 🇺🇸🏴☠️🇺🇸. They had over 20,000 HAPPY 😃 Miles on MY ORIGINAL REEFS. These will hopefully take me to my Grave . On my feet to walk with my Lived ones and Jesus.
