Bright laser. Very light weight. The switch is a momentary contact style and will not lock in the on position. The star cap is kind of fun but there were no instructions and to remove the star cap to use it as a pointer, you must tug on the cap while you are unscrewing it. The plastic clip they include to prevent accidently activating the laser is a design afterthought and is basically a piece of junk that you will lose almost immediately.It's a $10 pointer and for the money, it's acceptable
