These have been very good performing radios. The build quality appears to be very good for the radios, I have no doubt of the waterproof claims.The functionality is on-par with similar FRS radios.There is redundancy in the TX button as well as the SOS button (I don't really like the extra SOS button, but it's fine)The audio quality and volume is very strong.The option for USB-C charging is fantastic and one of the main reasons I got these radios. However, having all 6 charging at once it's nice to use the cradles. This is were it got a little frustrating. The USB C power cables that came with the radio are splitters that come from a 5v 2A adapter. It's not clear if you can connect two of the dual charging cradles or if you should only use one connection for each cradles or if you should use another dedicated cable. I had some issues charging the radios at first, charging overnight a couple radios still had a red light. I don't think they were making a good connecting to the cradle. They finished charging quickly when connected to USB.The manual mentions programming in a few places, but there is no software mentioned, instructions for finding it or programming cable. I'm guessing they'll work with CHIRP, but it looks like they have something available to download on the website. No additional documentation that I can find there though. These are great radios!22 FRS channels and an insane amount of CTCSS tones. Plus DTS and too many privacy features to mention.They work excellently. Range is about 1-2 miles in an urban setting. But if you have line of sight (hill or rooftop) you can easily get 5+ miles or more. Which makes these perfect for camping or off-roading.They're rugged and well-built. Perfect for outdoors or construction sites.These radios have exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. 5 full stars.
