This cap did not fit my 06 outback however i believe this is because its meant for a 2.5 liter engine and not my 3.0. It doesn't specifically say anything about the different motors in the add but when i compared the two caps at a local auto parts shop i could see the differences. This one has a longer stem in the middle and wont push down enough to close on my H6 radiator. with that being said the cap looks like it would work well and is priced 1/3 less than the local parts store. A bargain for those with the 4 cylinder Subaru engine.
